Carrying on very much as before, the D1 championship is always strongly contested and it is hoped that all drivers will assist the moderator, Phil Thornton, to ensure a just and amicable result is reached. Drivers have a free choice of car but must complete the designated pit stop(s) for that car. Pit stop details will be provided as part of the race announcements. The durations of the pit stops are configured to equalise the relative performance of each chassis over the race duration of 50 minutes. As was the case in Season 11, the final positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst two results.
Moderator: Phil Thornton Race Length: 50 minutes
Overview:
Open chassis choice, chassis performance leveled by timed pit stops.
Int-damage, any Shift-R must be followed by a Stop & Go (SnG) in the pits within 2 laps or take a 15 sec time penalty in post-race moderation. Non-fault Shift-R does not require a stop (or a penalty). |
