The Pro Trophy is intended to provide a competitive championship for the established drivers in the league using the 65 mod. This mod is particularly suited to enthusiasts of the smaller cars. The final championship positions will be determined after each driver has discarded their worst two results.

The moderator will assign drivers to a chassis at the start of the season based on their ability. The fastest drivers will be allocated the slower cars. Drivers will have to remain in that chassis for the rest of the season, they will only be allowed to swap chassis in exceptional circumstances and only with the approval of the moderator. Reserve drivers will also be assigned a chassis. If a reserve driver is allocated a grid slot they will use their allocated chassis, not the one used by the driver who dropped out.
