All members welcome.

Grid/server capacity: 28

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (16 laps)

Track: Road America Download this

Cars allowed: Shelby Cobra Pack Download this, Shelby Cobra 289/427.

Car restrictions: Top 50% of league - 240kW or 261kW spec Cobra's
New drivers and Bottom 50% - any of the above plus 320kW or 354kW spec Cobra's

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk SCC
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page

Special Notes: None

One of the rare opportunities where I had the feeling to be comfortable
with these snakes.

Some constant and fast laps during practice and quali with new pb's each,
which pleased me.

But I was in no way able to match that performance during race.

After an early pit stop due to some crashes I tried to run some easy laps
hunting for another new pb below 2:39 as I felt that there had been some
space left in quali due to some minor mistakes. But failed again.
So I left after some more crashes.

On the other hand: I like this track!

Grats to the champions and a big thanks to Tony and all involved for organizing
this series.

Looking forward to season 13

Thanks fellas for the congrats Wink. Congrats to you Mark and thank you for being a great "Nemesis" throughout the entire season  Smiley. Nice to have people that you can race very close and still be comfortable door handle to door handle. I have to say I wish Hristo would of raced the last couple of races and taken his rightfull 1st place in the championship but first you must show up. Congrats to you Hristo for being 3rd and for being the fastest guy around this year. Also, I would like to thank everyone for making this season as strong or stronger than previous seasons. Most of all thank you Tony for once again being a rock in the GTL world Cool. You put in so much time and effort and it needs to be acknowledged. We all benefit from it with wonderful entertanment. Over the years I've been bounced around many leagues and forums and this place is as good as they get. Got to love how tight the ship is run and how positive this forum is. Cheers boys and look forward to next year Grin
