Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0

In this race there were some incidents in the red zone.
On the Nürburgring, you should know, the race is not decided in the first miles...

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 0h01m06s

Sergio enters T2 side by side with Fulvio, he is a little in front and pulls to the right where Fulvio is. He should have been more cautious in T2!

Server replay time: 0h01m32s

Juha gets some oversteer into T3 and blocks the road, Fulvio can't avoid to hit him. The race ends for Juha landing upside down.

Server replay time: 0h02m14s

Tristan follows Göran close and rearends him under braking into Hocheichen-T14.
Göran made no mistakes and was driving his normal line at normal speed.

Server replay time: 0h20m59s

On lap 3 Clive follows Al close to Adenauer Forst. Clive has his right wheels in the grass and under braking rear ends Al Heller.
The victim made no mistakes and was driving their normal line at normal speed. The shunter had lost control on the approach to the braking zone and consequently braked later than intended

WELCOME TO THE UKGPL Season 22 - Pro Trophy

The 7th race of the season is at "the Ring".
I really do hate this green hell, when I did a real frightening never-ending lap there myself with a VW Passat I thanked god for the finish line..

Drivers beginning season 22 with this race have a free car choice!
All others have to keep their chosen car for the rest of the season,
they will only be allowed to swap chassis in exceptional circumstances and only with the approval of the moderator.

Juha and Alex have the permission to take a new car!

Driver lists can be found on the Pro Trophy championship standings page.

There will be full moderation of lap one Red Zone and reported incidents for the rest of the race.
Please submit incident reports within a week after the race so that the moderators report may be out before the next race.
Full time drivers have priority access to the server until 21.00 UK time.
Please restrict your chat to a minimum!

Complete waste of time here - got 1/2 a corner in  Roll Eyes

Don't even think I can use the cold tyres excuse as it felt wrong and I braked earlier than normal  :'(

Big big sorry to Al for ending your race. death death It seemed that we were going to be locked together for the whole race .

I thought I had your earlier braking points sussed after following you for a lap, but I got it wrong and realised too late that I was going to hit you  Undecided. I tried to miss you but once I got a wheel on the grass I lost it completely.

Stick in a report Al and I will gladly accept the penalty ( telephone directory being stuffed down trousers in preparation).  nono no thumbdown hang

Once again sorry for a stupid error.

I'm very sorry to have involved Alex and Tom into my noob mistake at lap 1. Alex lost a wheel in the process like me.  Embarrassed
Sorry also for Juha at T2, but I couldn't do anything there to avoid him.
Ciao

I was completely off pace as I had no preparation for this one. I saw (think it was Fulvio) loosing it and thought there was a gap opening as he rolled off track. Stupid since he bounced back on track and I hit him. A good rule is too brake down completely if I can but I didn t. I went on unharmed but lost loads of time. I think I got hit after I hit Fulvio, and I was the only one to continue miraclously. Maybe I actually gained point from this since I don t think I could have challenged those up front anyway. Completely alone 50 secs behind I lost spirit a bit and had a silly off that bent my car. I limped 2,5 laps to finish 10 mins after the others Cheesy

WOW...what a disaster!
It seems my races are of crash cars type! It's worst than I expected. That means I already have much to learn about 65's cars.  Tongue Roll Eyes

hi.....
well, I'm not realy happy of the penalties....I tell you why....
...I take a cool start, but some racers want to win the  place that they can't win at qualifies ....ok !... Goran try to over pass me( by the inside of the track, that is quite dangerous..) but he is a little short and he close the door in the inside at turn 1 .....ok but he is slower than me about 8 second a lap !... and he closz again the door at Hatzenbach !... why blocked me like this when he know that he is slower ??.... for shure 8 s/ lap make a difference and of course he brake early than me , that why I hit him in the back , cause I'm very surprise about his bracking , but it's completely unvolontary  of course .... I hope you don't think that I wanted to exit Goran !?....( anyway my apologies for that Goran ! )I was not trying to overpass or what else action on Goran I was not ready to he's early bracking , that's all !....so after the rear shunt , happyly Goran can continu his race , and at Aremberg, Goran is 2nd !!!....so not so mutch damage for him ! hum ?.....and in the end he finish second , not bad when you start 4th......but in the end I win easely with nearly a minute gap and the best lap in race and the pôle position... so I think I merit this victory .....and for me it's just a race incident ....but maby Goran claim something about it ??  or it's the own decision of the moderator ??...but anyway it"s disproportioned and the sanction is too mutch ....
....'cause I lost 3places in race , the victory , 17 pts and also 3 places in the champ !!! and Goran win the race ....sade victory in fact !..... it's not a little disproportioned for a unvolontary rear shunt whith NO concequence on the final result ??.....ok , I make a mistake , I hit Goran by the rear so I'm responsable but this kind of " race incident "wil be more right whith something like a " stop and go" at the next race or something like this ..... anyway , I'm a little demotivate betwin the bad connection ( 2 disco this season on 8 races....make 25% disco !) ...and this very rigid decision .....
...and about moderator's decisions and the Solitude race , where have been rear shunted and dead end race, PLEASE ?

ARF....SORRY ....I continu .....
...PLEASE, PLEASE no penalties ( even if nobody of the 2 racers will finish the race....!?? ) for Sergio , cause for me it's a ' race incident' and I'm shure than Sergio will take a positive experience about that .....

If you are unhappy Tristan you can appeal the decision (you would PM me) but these decisions are not lightly arrived at and the Mods spend quite a long time looking at these things. The decision does not necessarily imply any particular fault but rear ending someone (even if you are surprised by their pace) is a fairly big no no... Sad

Tristan this high penalty comes from the "red zone" rules where you get an extra place lost for any faulty incident.
In this race there was only one incident reported by a driver, but not this one!
The mod has to check every car and incident in the red zone by himself...

If there was an incident in Solitude after the red zone, you had to report it! Then the Penalty Guidelines will be used.

After I incidentally rearended Tristan watching him going out of track I've stopped by side waiting for tristan to get on track again and stay in front of me but this didn't happen so restarting I've caused problems to another guy coming at top speed that probably did not expect to find someone there so slow. My apologies for this inconvenient also.
