Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk FIFT
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) Driver lists can be found on the Championship standings page
(4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

I did find one problem was using my cd key instead of one given to me over at raceroom.net, I changed it via the registry, still no luck though Sad

Think I redownload the gtl zip files and try again, instead of cd version.

Well not my night tonight.

A weird mismatch that didn't seem to like my Maserati.

Never mind, the DR1 Aston was fine, but a little underpowered.

Then 3/4 way around Lap 3 (I think), while in P3, my throttle spring broke, leaving it stuck on full power.   The only way to reduce throttle was to tuck my foot under it, and try to lift it up.  Not much fun at all  Shocked

Tried it for the rest of the lap, but was never going to complete the rest of the race, so pulled out before being caught, and causing trouble for anyone.

Frustrating though.  I don't like DNF's,  :'( especially when it's a fail outside of your immediate control.

Funny though, I used to use a Thrustmaster wheel, and had spring issues.  I'd been using a Logitech for years, but recently changed to a TS500, and within months, I'm having spring trouble again :-(  It's a nice wheel, but that's very poor.

Well done all, and WD Navin on the pace.  Great stuff.

No. That's the Simbin official lobby, you need the Altbierbude "Un-official" server.

See if this helps https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=10850.0

Most enjoyable race. Was running in 2nd for the first lap but eventualy the more skilful Ross and then Matt caught and passed me. They both quit out later on, which left me in 2nd to Navin (who was blisteringly fast). I thought I'd be able to keep SpecialKS and Senyorlobo behind me but three spins on lap 5 allowed them to catch me. Tried to go faster on lap 6, on worn out tyres, to try and catch Senyorlobo but couldn't prevent him taking 2nd place.

I joined with the 4.5 Maser at first, but I was slower in it than with the DBR2
so swapped back, no time to qual so started from the back.
Passed Kurt as he had some trouble, then caught and passed Jose and Tony
after some good chasing. Was in a comfy 2nd place with a lap and a half to go
when I got lazy and went off through a transparent fence across a bit of grass and
over the edge of the world..... game over.

One last question do you run all the updates in altbierbude?
