Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v3.1 from:  http://www.gtlw.co.uk
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

It says "Corvette C2 L72 Coupe (Any)" but I can only see one.   Sad

Are there some more lurking somewhere?

No. he is the only one, but you can use any of him.   Embarrassed
Some of the others I tried had more than one, but I landed on that one as the most appropriate
and forgot to change the line...  detective

I hate to put focus on something, that will enforce even more hard labour upon the already dreadfully overworked organiser of these racing series, but still.........

At some point, it might be a good idea to consider having the calendar revised in order to make it reflect, what's actually going on  blink blink

He may be referring to the Calendar. Which currently shows tomorrow night's race as being P9LCC Dubai.

Ahhh, that's MJ's fault  Roll Eyes
I needed to move all the events up one week as we decided to re run Oulton the following week.
So some of the descriptions may be out of sync, I thought I had got them all, I will check.
Thanks.

Ummm, ok I have never looked at the calendar before, and I don't know how I can update it?  Huh Huh Huh Huh
It seems to feed off the LM2i, but the events are correct in there I thought. hmmm I will give it some thought.

EDIT: Ok I think I have figured how to edit the calendar, I can only do it through LM2i where you get an extra field
at the top with the calendar entry, Sorry about that, I have never looked at the calendar before, and didn't know
that I could edit it.  Shocked

That's one of my biggest gripes with our home page (sorry Dave).

We have three different ways of telling people what's the next race e.g Server status, Calendar and Forthcoming but no way of obviously and unmistakingly telling people (especially newcomers) "The next GTL race is this".

This is a notoriously tough event, it's as much about finishing as it is how fast you can go
many people will end up over a wall, sometimes you might be able to get back onto the track
at some places you find it impossible and you will end up falling off the world.
It has been pointed out that a crash in front will be unavoidable to those following
Yep this is true  devil so drive carefully and keep an eye open for yellow flags
or you might end up -  eek taz

LOL! This track is hard not to go to the wall, the important thing is to end up with a car that still works
I well remember the flying cars with good old GPL  eek you just lose focus and you're dead hang ... hihihihi
However, I think the Falcon is the car more manageable, the Corvette is more powerful and faster on the straights but it consumes too much the tires and braking is difficult, the other cars  tank have not tried.

Before we all move to sunny and hot Australia for tonight's event, I would like to express my sincere sympathy for the atrocious weather conditions the Brits have been facing this winter. Looking at the weather charts during the daily news they nearly invariably showed amounts of storm and rain coming your way that defied imagination! I have always known the Brits as people not in the habit of complaining about things, but my word I think you have every right to now! We hope for all those affected, things will turn for the better soon. From the low countries below sea level ( better not think about that(!) too often) we send you our moral support.

As for racingposts I admit this is a bit off topic but still I thought I'd let you know.

See you all at Bathhurst. (Senior)Dan
