Estimated laps 17 for 30min race, according to RSR times. Got a practice server running.

The main "trick" with the GTA I've found is to stiffen and lower the suspension, especially the front - it makes it turn in a lot sharper, makes the rear more controllable and stops the massive nose-dive when braking.
I'm no expert, but it feels like the stock setup is a road setup rather than anything track-focussed.

The orange tyre barriers are fake . I can guess what can happen at the first chicane. All stock setups are rubbish, often way too soft.

Well I was enjoying that until Bob decided to do something ridiculous on the back straight what the hell did you pull onto the grass for, on the opposite side of the track to me, then spear across to the other side of the track to take me out at 120mph?! For some reason had to start the race from the pitlane, no idea why, just clicked normal buttons within time for race start. So my 7th turned to 11th on the grid. Then while I tried to see where everyone was, I saw the pack head down to the first chicane. Joined the race and chased hard getting past several cars up to 6th and closing on 5th only to be taken out stupidly in a place where there should be no contact.

???On about lap 7 on the long straight all my controls, steering throttle and brake stopped working spinning me down the track. To all who it affected a big sorry, circumstances beyond control. To MarkJ do you REALLY think I would do something like that when I was having a good race myself.

I was too angry to think straight! But that explains the bizarre incident. Unlucky Bob and the few of us that got destroyed in the process. Note to anyone that suffers this, if you have any background apps or popups including from windows, then this loss of controllers will happen.

Rather distracting that Chris, with laptimes that are impossible. Really took me of my, already bad, concentration.
