Ehhhmm. ok i downloaded the PLP app and it says; Unzip into your Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa folder.

When extracting the files it said the maps Apps and Content already exists. So i just took the files from their corresponding maps and put them in the matching AC maps. That should be enough? So if i enter the server it should show a chat message?

You need to enable the app in game before it will work, someone with a better memory than me will be along shortly to tell you where in settings I'm sure  Embarrassed Once enabled you should see the chat message when you enter the car and an empty window (that may disappear after a few secs) where the messages get written should you infringe.

Windows gives you separate warnings about merging the contents or overwriting files. The Apps and Content would have been of the merge flavour and you could have said yes. Unless PLP was already installed you shouldn't have got the file overwrite warning. Obviously you will from now on Wink

After installing an app, you need go here to select the app you want to use in game.

In the car go to the right and scroll down untill you see the PLP app. Click it and than place it on a spot you like.
My example

Jeebers, can we not sex these race threads up a little?!
Here, take this...

or this:-

stick that in the first post please under the race title, we want to encourage more racers not look like a sewing club at the womens institute  laugh

Then I can do a nice thread grab and put it on the Kunos site as nobody seems to want to do that  Roll Eyes  Wink

or something a bit smaller...

oh, just noticed this is just another fun race....thought it was the start of a new GT2 series?  Undecided

I was just about to post up a thread of it on the Kunos site but not worth it for a fun race. Are we ever going to get a proper series started here?  :'(

Erm, we already have two running at the moment. The GT3s and the BMWs.

I've been talking to the others about sorting an announcement out on the AC forums but no reply yet. Promotion's never been my strong point so I'm wary to do it myself.  Undecided

Just spotted that, the practice server I set up had been too! Guess no one noticed.

I've restarted the server and made the start 5 mins later at 8:20 so hopefully people already booked will be alone promptly and be able to join again

So did I but then I realised a 14 lap race wasn't going to take anywhere near 30 mins.

Without loading the game up it's not always obvious which layout is named what unless you're a total circuit anorak. There is no circuit named "Silverstone GP" in the game and stupid old me selected the wrong option offered to me. Please PLEASE sack me.
