2L at Reims  Embarrassed

Maybe it would be better to switch Bremgarten or Sachsenring with Reims for 2 liters ?

I agree, it could be interesting to do a 2L race in Reims.
I am just hoping everybody will not choose Brabham 2,7 L

Is that faster than BRM P261 or Ferrari 246?

Anyhow, I'll be in one of the smaller ones, by choice or by force Tongue.

I'll probably be in a BT2.5 or L33 (Group 1) for 2 lt races.

It won't be by force Iestyn, you have a free choice like anyone else. The rules for the Historics are different this season and I'm expecting the choice of chassis to be tactical.  I wouldn't waste a fast chassis choice on a race when you are in a fast chassis; I'd pick a slow one because you'd beat me anyway.  Now if I know you have got a slow chassis I might risk selecting a quick one (I'd probably still have no chance).

Remember drivers are not allowed to change chassis having joined the server (see here) but it is permissible to check the IGOR race list before joining.

Using 3L at the fast tracks and 2L at the slow tracks doesn't promote better racing.  The only reason to separate the 2L and 3L chassis is to reduce the possibility of incidents because of the vast differences in braking distances and speeds between the 2 groups.  Using the 2Ls on a fast track should be fun when there is no chance of being left for dead by a 3L car.

Ah good point, I was still thinking of last season's rules, (Group 1 for 2 lt and 3 lt handicaps) even after reading it angel Roll Eyes. This'll make it interesting Smiley.

10 races - so 4 groups (of 6) are 're-used'? I might try and make that the lower two groups of the three on each side.

I know that we don't mix the cars, but it would be interesting to me if we did a fun race like that.. 6 groups, 3 for each 'set' of Pros/Ams.. fastest Pros in 2lts Group 1, to slowest Ams Group 3 of the 3 lts etc. In a championship, that could really swap it up; with a mix of races, theoretically everyone has a chance to win (if we aren't piling into each other in a slower version of 69x of course Tongue).

You know - if we could get the numbers this could make for a fantastic fun race to try the idea!

count me in for this, although not for the next 2 weeks as I am on holiday  Grin

Agree - maybe after this season is done? Guessing I'd be in the L33 Climax, maybe Tris in the T1F etc. You in the smaller BRM? Grin

This will be a fun season trying to chase Mark, 67s in oAo and 66s in UKGPL Cool

Today Bremgarten race is so tempting. If there's a free slot I'd happily join the event.
