Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 0h01m05s

Mass collision at 1st turn :

P and M. Mercaldo were on the 1st gridline, Marco on the apex tried to overtake Piero. Piero slightly spun and there was a side by side contact.
No clear fault from Piero or Marco ...but once again let\\\'s try to be more cautious at the start and the first turns.

At the end of the grid, Francesco was still pushing the throttle even when he could see the big crash in front of his car. Then he made a bad restart as there was Piero\\\'s car just in front of him (see at 1min10sec).

I will say Racing Incident because things were happening very quickly.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 0h05m38s

Marginal side by side contact between Piero and Bastian.

  • Racing incident

Server replay time: 0h13m30s

Evil Clive had to reset but he didn\'t fully stop and go at the pits...

Server replay time: 0h19m30s

Greg had an engine problem, he could continue to drive until the pits where he stopped and then did a reset.
This is not correct: first we have to reset and then a stop and go.

Small penalty because it didn\'t give him a real advantage.

Server replay time: 0h32m48s

very slightly contact between Doni and Bastian cars.

Doni takes a defensive line just before Bastian makes a move, so it\'s no blocking.
Then I don\'t understand why Bastian tried to overtake Doni on the right as there were plenty of space on the left.

  • Racing incident

Season 29 - CHAMPIONSHIP 69X  : ROUND 3 - SILVERSTONE (Papy track)

For Round 3 we return to Silverstone, the Home of British Motorsport. Silverstone hosted the very first Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1950 and although the circuit layout has changed over the years, the variant of the track we will race on tonight is practically the same as the original 1950 layout. The only real difference is the pit lane. In fact the track was used in this form until 1975.  Silverstone witnessed dozens of spectacular races during this period not only Formula 1 but also sports cars and motorcycles.

After 2 races, Tim is leading the championship followed by Andreas and Axel. …but we are waiting for Rouen race moderation.
The race will be run under INT rules and you can do one Shift+r  (only one) followed by a stop and go in the pits (Stop and Go must be taken within two laps of the incident unless on the last lap when a time penalty will be added).

We will use the patch : 60fpsV1.

Race List =   IGOR
Server = UKGPL_8
IP Address = look at IGOR
Race date = 08-11-2015
Qualification Time   = ~21:00  UK time -> 30min
Race Time = race starts at 21:30 UK time
Track = SILVERSTONE (standard papy)
Variant = 69X
60fps patch used = 60fpsV1
Damage Model = INT
Race length = 34 laps
Replay = you will get here

Please restrict chat to emergency messages only, including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

Password: see above
(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

and remember :

Drivers will have a free car choice
BUT
Each car can be driven only once in this season!

Moderation : no more red zone, only reported incidents will be moderated.

Have FUN !

OK, I know that you'll be not wanting to help me drive better in the race, but does anyone have any good setups?  I can't d/l them from the track database (dunno why), and I can't find a driveable setup with more than 8 / 10 degrees wing.   Roll Eyes

Here are all setups I have. Some I haven't tried in quite a while though, so use at your own risk Cheesy .

Can't watch it live since it went from Eurosport;   will have to watch it tomorrow on ITV4 highlights show...   Just hope I don't see the result anywhere in the meantime  Smiley

I don't think I've driven much worse than tonight.  I was over 0.6 seconds slower than my PB in qualy, ending up 13th.  Arrived at the crash scene and gently bumped into the side of a BRM, then was obliterated by two cars from behind - smoke / flames.  Reset, took my S&G at the end of the lap, and somehow ended up 18th.. ?  Ploughed the usual lonely furrow, kept spinning off.  Hopeless.  Angry
