This is reminding me why I hate RRE's pricing model. So I can buy the DTM 2016 cars as a block or as individual skins. The skins appear to be 15 vrp each yet once added to the basket they are either 175 or 200 vrp.

Why is it cheaper to buy DTM Experince than DTM 2016? Doesn't the 1st include the 2nd?

Where does one find this Formula Junior?

Sorry can't be bothered.

You give up so easily Pete, come on??

There structure hasnt changed, you buy the individual car plus the skins. You can also buy the series packs. Its blackfriday, their pricing isnt going ot make sense!

Probably becuase it recognises you dont have the car!!!

Yes from what i understand the 2016 cars are  bit more userfriendly than the previous ones to drive so was goingto suggest those.

Thanks.

Just to be clear then, we will run the following for 6 months commencing January.

Week 1 GTR3, 40 minute "sprint" races.
Week 2 DTM 2016, 40 minute race with no pitstop (as in the RL "Saturday" races http://www.dtm.com/en/regulations/sporting-regulations).
Week 3 GTR3, 60 minute "endurance" races with mandatory pitstop (tyre/fuel settings to be confirmed).
Week 4 Formula Junior, 2 x 20 minute races, reverse grid for race 2 taken from results of race 1.

These will be run as separate championships.

Those wishing to take part might want to take advantage of the current 50% off sale which runs until Monday to purchase the cars needed. I find the best way to do this is to start the game and select "Store" from the main menu. That way you will be sure of seeing which particular prices apply to your account and you can work out how much VRP you will need.

I'll schedule a couple of pre-season non championship races for us to get familiar with the DRS in the DTM cars and the reverse grid in the Formula Junior (which now seems to be working correctly in game).

Yes, I'm so used to thinking of the Formula Junior as being a Formula Ford. I've amended my post above.

Haven't decided yet but I'll try to post a list of tracks needed later today.

Note: I also plan to include Silverstone when it is released.

Can i suggest double headers for the DTM?

I've considered this but would prefer to keep closer to RL. DTM are double header events but they consist of a 40 minute sprint race on Saturday and a 60 minute race on Sunday with an enforced pitstop. I've tested for a 40 minute sprint race and the tyre wear rate seems perfect for this which will add another dimension to the racing.

Short double header races with reverse grids might be ok for Formula Junior but in quicker cars I foresee T1 problems especially as I intend to make these standing starts.

Got them all. I hope I can invest more time, Spanner. Frankly, it's all about priorities with tanks and warships getting a bit lower now  Wink

Hi Ant, good to hear from you.

All our DTM races are Sundays. The "Saturday night" part just refers to the real life series on which our Sunday series will be loosely based. Hope to see you soon.

I'm going to be standing down from organizing our Sunday evening Raceroom events at the end of this season (end of June). I just don't have the time and commitment for it these days and I think a new person with a fresh approach will be best for all.

I'd like to thank Tony, Matt, Dave and Pete for all the assistance they've given me over this time.....I literally wouldn't have been able to do it without your help and support  thumbup1 Thanks also to all those who have supported the races....it's been great fun and I hope to join you again when time allows.
