This race will be a rolling start following a formation lap and the procedure is as follows:

*It will be the pole sitter's responsibility to complete the first lap at a pace that allows the rest of the grid to follow comfortably
*There should be no overtaking or hard accelerating/braking
*Drivers should avoid getting too far behind or too close to the driver in front
*Approximately 20 seconds before crossing the start line the pole sitter should slow down to a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*Each following driver shall close up directly behind the driver in front also maintaining a speed of no more than 50mph (80km/h)
*The pole sitter should maintain that speed until they cross the start line and then accelerate away to start the race (lap2)
*Each following driver should only accelerate when the driver directly ahead does (they do not have to wait until crossing the start line)
*No overtaking is allowed before crossing the start line at the completion of the formation lap

Qual 2: 20:30 (15 mins)

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Well... that was one weird first race in this league for me... Started in qualify that I got a 1:51.0 time but I was in last and my name was flashing on the timing screen. Then came to the race and I suddently started in 2nd position, but I was in last place on in the HUD and every driver was chaning position on the HUD all the time even on the formation lap.

So I had no idea what was happening, where I should have started etc. So I decided to let everyone past after the formation lap, then after I did that I spun ofc... And the problems continued so I decided to retire since I have no idea if I was laging or what ever on other people screen or what was happening...

Yep, seemed to be some strange things going on this evening. I could see names flashing in the timing screens and I thought about restarting the server but  I didn't see anyone lagging in any session so decided not to.

In race the gap to John in front seemed to jump a second or so at one point and I was getting some weird cut warnings approaching Lesmo 1 so there was definitely something amiss.

As for the race, I couldn't match John's pace and then misjudged my pit entry trying to make up and received a drive through for speeding, then another for speeding in my drivet through lol. Race went downhill from there  Roll Eyes

Grats to podies  thumbup1 Hope you join us again Martin, we don't usually have these gremlins.

I'll do the missing Ferrari tyre later today.

Can Martin fill in his nationality please. (Profile/Driver details).
