Season 30 - Amateurs Trophy

Please check the Season 30 details regarding rules and the Amateurs Trophy pages in particular.

This season, races are to be run at 60 frames per second – please use this patch 60fpsV2newmod . Drivers must complete 50% of each race to score.

Only ONE reset per race will be allowed followed by a compulsory Stop & Go in the pit-lane, within 2 laps.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 65 F1 only
Date: Every second Tuesday from 7th June 2016
Time: no later then 9:00pm UK Time (30-60 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: 45 minutes
Damage Model:  Intermediate
Server: TBA
Race List: IGOR
Divisional Moderator: Robert Fleurke/Turkey Machine

The provisional calendar may be changed at the discretion of the Divisional Moderator.
 
Handicapping
No handicaps will apply. At the moderators discretion a chassis handicap may be applied for drivers who are “Pro” standard.

Hi Robert .... links to tracks here not working, i know its not a problem because we can search for tracks, but newbies might not. As i last season had lots of discos Maddog suggested lite tracks can i just delete my normal track folder from tracks and replace with lite or is there more to it?

Hi Walter yes last season had some excellent drivers, voted for 75% or more so hope to attend all races.

Cheers Rog, UKGPL3 seems to be down or not accessible for the last week. I hope it will be back up soon!

Otherwise we have to link through GPL Trackbase.

Hi Rog - lite tracks aren't all the same.  Some come as a complete track, while some arrive as addons to install over a heavy version.  Hopefully a readme will tell you what to do. 

There are extreme tracks, where several options are available, such as Brands67.  Lower Res. and fewer colour options are good for Online.  Fewer track objects might be Ok, if you remain happy with which pedal to use, and where.  GL.

I am trying to get some stuff sorted at home. Change of job, kids off to University, change of broadband supplier...

UKGPL3 has never been down but for some reason it is not visible to the outside world. I will try and get it going again.

As for the racing, I might just see if the wheel still works.
