Handicapping
A new handicap system will be used to get a wider range of cars on the grid to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1966 championship. Races will be 3 Litre OR 2 Litre events. BUT for 3L events drivers can take any car = 3L or 2L. For 2Lraces Pro / Works drivers can take any 2L car and the Amateur / Privateers drivers can take any car – including any 3Lcar. Fairly simple. Please check the choice for each race. 3 Litre cars will be used on the faster circuits

If you would like to enter this series please submit an entry in the poll.

Just a reminder that the 66 series is celebrating its 50th anniversary. In commemoration, Season 30 will follow the original calendar with Silverstone added as a 10th race.

So the calendar is;
Monaco - 2L
Spa - 3L
Reims - 3L
Brands Hatch - 2L
Zandvoort -3L
Nurburgring -2L
Monza -3L
Watkins Glen - 2L
Mexico -2L
Silverstone - 3L

Question - are we using the original Papyrus Spa?

What about the rest of the races as some planning is required with the handicapping system for this series?

I assume, we alternate each race between 2 and 3L cars?

You know that some people are different
Now ain't that a crying shame
Now wouldn't it be a real drag if we were all the same

That may well be the case Greg but I have learned to assume nothing with handicapping here at UKGPL  Roll Eyes

Hi Phil

Registration processed, you are in.  Welcome to the series.  You can take any car you like for the last 2 rounds.
