I don't remember ever having been on this track before, but it's nice and quit a challenge too.
Turn one, i.e. the chicane, is really tricky, especially if you suck at braking as much as I do  laugh

Stig

PS. Any setup tips for the BMW will be most appreciated.

I like the beemer here, I might have set the damper compression softer front and rear and both
rebounds harder. For most of the R3E cars you need to push the brake bias rearwards as the fronts
tend to lock up by defualt. Other than that, I don't think I have changed the defaults setup much.

Oddly, I find these easier to drive than the Gr3 cars... I can even get the Porka round without falling off much  Grin
I like the Caddy, but the Beemer seems a bit easier to drive here for me.

Nice race, grats to the podium.

Unfortunately I misunderstood when the race was over. It said 'Last lap' before I reached the finish line, so I left ......... Roll Eyes

Grats to the podium. Well I've been needing a new wheel and pedals for about 2 years it finally went . I was feeling quick for the 1st half. Then wheel decided to stay 3/4 to the left for the other half I wanted to quit so bad, but I hung in there! Grin

Wow I would have just shut it down, when your equip fails it's the worst, had this race where my wheel disconnected on me, drifted off into the gravel while it rebooted spinning its full 900 back n forth painful to wait and watch as the field blows by.  Nows the perfect time to win that thrustmaster competition Apex, it's only God level lap times to beat...

Shame about your spin Tudor, had a few close calls myself, would have been a tough battle with the legs on your vette, first few laps I was really trying to catch you under braking and sorry I almost took you out lap 2, locked up with cold tires into chicane,  wacko  For me was a deceptively tricky track, seems easy up front but with it being bumpy as heck, big ballsy turns and tricky braking points kept me busy trying manage the gap I had after his spin.  Look forward to the next one guys.

Stig: The server has to be set with a time limit after the winner crosses the line. Is a strange thing
unique (as far as I know) to this sim. After earlier in the season complaints from people, we now set it
to the max of 1.5 mins, (I think) If we set it shorter people complain because they don't get to cross the line.
At 1.5 mins, it's important that nobody leaves before the count completes, or it can screw the results
which is more work for me  Roll Eyes

Always drive until you cross the finish line and the AI takes over is my motto. Stig you were only 20 odd seconds behind me so had plenty of time to finish before the timer ran out.

Bit of a lonely race for me, not quick enough to put any pressure on the cars in front but incident free enough that those behind me, who were slowly closing in, gave me a gap again due to some issue or another. Love the drifting round the first hairpin, I could hear the crowd roar with delight. Wasn't intentional but fun when it happened  Roll Eyes

Err what are you all on about.. The last lap message comes up, I believe when the leader crosses the line. I've had it plenty when I look up and see it says 'last lap' only to cross the line and then find that now its the last lap!

Never got on with this track in other cars but seems to be a bit more manageable in these cars, though don't think I got the final sequence right ever as the car was understeering into it then oversteering all the way through the change of directions. Knew the chicane was going to bite through the race, shame as I was ahead of Stig till then. After it was just about keep my distance from Pete and Apex.

Fun race, enjoyed it, with some good close racing early on. Most of the people around me unfortunately fell off or had problems though, which left me chasing Matt a few seconds up the road. But then I got on the dirt when letting GT by and dropped further behind.

Still good fun, congrats podium.
