Cars allowed: Touring Classics
Track: Zandvoort GP

Championship Standings

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

I will be on me hols in Cornwall for this one, so please could someone do the honours with the server?
I will probably not even have net access, so will not be able to do anything myself  Sad

I should be ok for server duties for this and for the race.

I have manflu so couldn't come out to play this week and I'm doubtful for tomorrow's GT2 race but I'll be ok to start the server for that one too.

Sorry Spanner for the start - my starts are always bad, but that one was particularly horrific.. I've no idea why though - went as normal when the lights went out and.. ..nothing. You had nowhere to go, and went off, sorry. We did have some fun laps once we got going though (well, I did at least..!), shame you left early.

Congrats podium.

I know you were right infront but was watching Eck to gauge my start and hadnt thought to worry about you being a row ahead. The auto clutch is too violent so was trying to adjust the throttle position to minimise it. Its like you were stationary! Yes it was good fun but i was knackered before the start and i ended up have to drive with a lot of concentraion to keep up, the tyres are rubbish and the car slides around to much so ended up seesawing at the wheel alot. You had got a bit ahead and the car was sliding more and couldnt get that hairpin right. I'm not sure i wanted t get to the end lol so gave up.

I think the autoclutch is a bit pants in Raceroom. I always seem to bog down at the start regardless of my sensitivity setting usually ending up losing places for it and then have to suffer slow gear changes throughout the race. Eck must have his sorted out as he shot past me like a scalded cat off the grid  Shocked

I managed to get 2nd place back after a few laps and at one point seemed to be edging closer to John but pushed too hard resulting in a visit to the gravel and 10 seconds lost  Roll Eyes By then the front tyres of my Volvo were flashing orange and I had to nurse it to the flag.

Well done to John for the win and to Eck for the podium.
