Championship standings HERE

Grid/server capacity: 22

Track: Blue Mountain Download this

Cars allowed: Shelby Mustang Boss 302 Download this

Practice: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qualifying: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (30 laps)

Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: simracing.org.uk Monday
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
If you still finding pitting problematic, experience tells us that its less to do with positioning and more to do with approach speed. A slow approach to pit crew chief has proved most reliable.

Special Notes: None

I assumed this place was either a fantasy track, or a disused US one, but it deems it is in Oz

Looking at the guy doing a lap, we, or he seems to be going the wrong way round?

From the track author......."The Blue Mountain GP Circuit is a fantasy track named after a ski resort in Pennsylvania, USA. Before this project was called Blue Mountain, it was an almost flat club circuit type of track. I got some ideas of what I thought would make a good fantasy track such as: An authentic 60's era feel, nice elevation and camber changes, a variety of corners, and also fun/difficult to drive. I tried to put all these elements together to create a "believable" fantasy track.

What I came up with was a 2.551 mile public-road circuit so to speak. It contains flat-out sweepers, one or two tighter bends, hills and jumps, an off-camber corner and even a chicane-type corner at the end. This track demands the best out of the car, driver, and the setup. It is a fun drive I think!

The track Matt found was this one

I'm a bit confused Matt. When you try to join where? Your own server or the SROUK one?
The track isn't installed yet on the SROUK server.

Wow, what a treacherous track to kick off this series  Shocked

But, totally addictive, once you've worked out the pitfalls - just can't beat tethering on the brink of disaster at every jump...  Grin  (And what a fun way to torture a hapless set of Goodyears  Cool)

Cheers,
Erling

I Just went on-line to check all was ok at my end and it's still showing the Suzuka circuit (Or did I misunderstand your last post)?

We still have to run the Christmas Special on the 30th before Season 17 kicks off. Look at Forthcoming events to see the order.
