IMPORTANT
Once qualification has started drivers may not leave to change class/make/car. They may leave to change skins.

Been downloading next January’s races but have now found problems in installing the Minis, Escort 1300GT, Escort 1600TC (FVA), Escort 1600RS and the Early Brands Track. I have installed and uninstalled these items a couple of time without success. When I run GTL, Early Brands is not shown as an available track and none of the downloaded cars are available to drive.
Brands file at the correct download date is shown in the Locations File.
The Mini 1250 S file at the correct download date is the Teams\Extra Cars Folder.
The Ford TC file at the correct download date is the Teams/GTC – TC – 76 Folder.
The Ford Escort 1300GT and Mini 970 S file at the correct download date is the Teams/TC – 65 Folder.
The Escort 1600TC (FVA) is not in any of the folders.
Tony can you please advise on solutions to these problems?

Hi Bill. I need to be in front of my home PC before I can begin to provide answers to the above. Is this a copy GTL install?

Hi Bill. I need to be in front of my home PC before I can begin to provide answers to the above. Is this a copy GTL install? Thanks Tony didn't expect an instant answer. I have a Master Copy of GTL which I copy and use for all my GTL Installations since my computer went tits up with my Win 8 problems. I've used this master copy as the starting point for at least 2 SROU Seasons and Nogrip ETCC65 and WSC63 without any problems. I will see if I can get the Escort 1300 GT install on my current SROU Season installation. I'll be back shortly.

I'll try Minis on a new installation.

Got all the Mini variants working ok on new installation. Perhaps its the CamAm interfering with these downloads. Will hopefully complete a new installation OK Sorry Tony will continue installation in slow time.

It appears that CanAm and GTL downloaded cars can not exist in the same installation - after the troubles initially reported I find that the CanAm cars are no longer available and appear to have been deleted. New installation works properly with the cars so far installed and Brands is available all the Minis and Escort Variants are available so I'm dumping my original installation and will have 2 separated installations for CanAm cars and GTL cars - definitely slow time installing Season 17!

Hmm, sounds strange. All Can Am stuff is in it's own folders. There should be no conflict with anything else. I have it installed in this year's UKGTL install with no issues.. I'll create a new I install tonight for next year and see if I can replicate this. TTFN John.

I installed my Can-Am into it's own GTL install so have not needed to mix mods. However I am keen to check that the server install and my own like each other. I'll test that tonight. EDIT: I can confirm that both my own and the server installs are loving each other I would always advise a fresh copy of GTL for each series as this seems to cancel out a lot of cough Clive type cough problems.

Yep, that's what I do. I have a virgin Steam install just with the "Loadsa Money" patch, advanced set up and a driver created. I then copy that to a new install and download everything as required from the links. (I know I could copy stuff across from other installs but I do it this way in case of any updated packs).
I've just installed the BSCC cars and tracks followed by the CanAm pack and tracks and all works well.
One confusion though... I seem to have a myriad of Mini 970 S (64, 65, 68 & 69). Which 1 are we using here? Have I cocked up somewhere?
Thanks in advance
TTFN John.

Drivers are limited to three drives per Class. Something doesn't add up Tony, there appear to be 15 races in this series, we are limited to 3 drives in each of 4 classes which only adds up to 12!

But not all classes compete in every race. Throughout the entire season there are twelve opportunities to drive in each class.

It only works if you limit drivers to doing only one race at each of the events where the classes are split. Or am I missing something?
