THIS IS A NON-CHAMPIONSHIP TEST/FUN RACE

Practice: 20:00 BST (30 mins)
Qual: 20:30 (15 mins)
Race 1: 20:45 ~ 20 Mins
Race 2: 20 Mins Reverse grid (first 6 places) taken from results of Race 1

Cars allowed: Formula Raceroom Junior
Track: Circuit Paul Ricard Solution 1C V2
Time of Day Setting: Afternoon

Start: Standing
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal
Pit-stops: None required

Server: Simracing.org.uk
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see
cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the
rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Race Room Racing Experience from Steam, and have the Euro and American Track Packs for this series (And maybe another
non pack track occasionally)
(4) Please exercise caution when pitting as some tracks have a speed limit.

(5) Please follow the SROUK guidelines for using kerbs etc. Please keep 2 wheels on the track surface (kerbs do not count as track surface)
Excessive cutting of corners will seen as cheating and the results may be altered to reflect this.

Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

This will be our first event using the 2 race format with reverse grid in RR so lets hope all goes smoothly.

I've set the server up and the settings look correct but maybe if someone could double check to make sure I've not missed anything. Practice and qualifying will be usual format for Race 1. Race 2 will have the first 6 positions from the result of Race 1 reversed which should mix things up nicely  devil

Both races will be standing start.

Ricard probably isn't the best track for these cars but at least it should give some slip streaming on the straights......just make sure to spot your braking points as those chicanes tend to drag you in.

Love the car and the race format, but this track is ........ yak .... and very hard to learn with only two dimension because of the layout. It's a long track, it's flat, it has very few buildings and all those blue stripes makes everything more confusing IMO.

Probably going to give this series or DTM a bash. But let me see. I like this because of the reverse grids

As usual these lower powered cars produce some great close racing and the reverse grid for Race 2 certainly spiced things up.....far too much excitement for a Sunday evening  Smiley

All seemed to run smoothly transitioning from Race 1 to Race 2 and the reverse grid seemed to set according to plan.

Shame we had a low turnout and that some dropped out but good to see another quality racer on the grid....well done Paul  Cool

It has only produced one results file. Not sure if it is the 1st or second race?
I had to change it to PaulRicard A1 to get the system to accept the track.

That doesn't sound good  Sad

The results you posted seem correct for Race 1. Not sure why the track caused a problem as this version has been added to the roster by Dave.

I wonder if it's a problem with the game generating the data for Race 2 or our system not recognising it  Undecided Shall I raise the question at S3 forums?

It looks like the game saves results from all sessions, but bothsessions are in one file:
e.g. First sessions:
Sessions><MultiplayerRaceSession><Players><MultiplayerRacePlayer><BestLapTime>139755</BestLapTime><Car>Formula RaceRoom Junior</Car><FinishStatus>None</FinishStatus><FullName>Tudor Morris</FullName><Position>1</Position><RaceSessionLaps/><TotalTime>0</TotalTime><Username>goldtop</Username></MultiplayerRacePlayer>

Second session:
<Type>Race</Type></MultiplayerRaceSession><MultiplayerRaceSession><Players><MultiplayerRacePlayer><BestLapTime>140698</BestLapTime><Car>Formula RaceRoom Junior</Car><FinishStatus>None</FinishStatus><FullName>Tudor Morris</FullName><Position>1</Position><RaceSessionLaps>

We would need Dave to help work out how we can input this info.
It doesn't look obvious (to me) exactly where to cut the file to split it into two races.

Sorry I missed last night, was out. However my PB of a 2:22 probably meant I would having been struggling around waiting to be lapped again as I bet I can't do consistent PBs to have kept up.
