A firm favourite when run in the conventional direction where it always delivers some fast close racing, but will it be the same in reverse?? All of the tracks are the original Papyrus circuits that were published on the original CD, but we are running them in reverse direction. There will be a mixture of carsets to use through the season and for the next race we are using the 67F2 mod, so get your slipstreaming pants on. Please refer to the championship page ( or below) to see which cars you are eligible to use. The general focus is on fun and close racing for all, with the faster drivers limited to the slower cars. Once again, running a familiar track in reverse changes how corners need to be approached. Fast corners can become slower and bends that were slow now are maybe not so slow. In the 67 F2, PRO drivers cannot use: Matra MS5 FVA, Matra MS7 FVA, Brabham BT23 FVA, Lotus 48 FVA or Lola T100 FVA. They are permitted to use any other chassis a maximum of twice during the season.Password: see above(2) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings pageRace list iGOR Server tba IP address look at IGOR Date 11-04-2017 Track Enotsrevlis (we recommend that you download the folder containing all of the reversed circuits and the reverse season.ini file) PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS THE ORIGINAL PAPYRUS TRACK AND NOT ANY UPDATED VERSION. Mod 67 F2 Damage INT long Race time Race starts at 21:30 UK time Qualifying ~45 minutes, starting ~ 20:45 UK time Race length 30 laps Replay get here Shift/R is allowed but must be followed by a SnG in the pitlane within 2 laps.

If we shall race 45min, I think 30 laps should be more than enough...

Is it bad I'm looking forward to these races more than the grads because the tracks are all new?

Sorry I could not join the fun tonight, but my GEM/IGOR has had a total meltdown. I cannot open GPL in any mod other than the original 67 and that is via the gpl.exe file within the original Sierra/gpl folder. I have been unable to join races via Igor for quite some time, and usually have to use the IP address , but that requires me to launch GPL via GEM and use the "multiplayer" option to enter password and IP. I can select the carset/driver/circuit/season etc. on the GEM front screen, but as soon as I click to launch GPL I get an "error" box that pops up and prevents me doing anything else until I CTRL/ALT/DEL and "end task" to close GEM. I have tried all that I know ( which is not a lot!!) and I have reloaded GEM, but the problem persists.

Do you have a backup of the GPL folder? I do save the folder to an extern HD when all is fine. Make shure the Harddisk is technically ok by running HWiNFO32 My race was a little handicaped: 1m12.340s Axel Cookie - spotters reporting: minor problems with left front suspension.

Really sorry about that Robert - you were still beside me as I entered the braking zone so i assumed you were staying outside and slowed extra to ensure I could leave you room. You were already pretty much crossed up when you appeared in my mirror so there was nothing I could do Sam looked as though he would repeat the great battle we had at Oulton last year in the F2's until he span, a shame as he was actually going faster than me by the end of the race. Either the Firestone tyres fall apart towards the middle of a race, or I just had slightly too much heat and/or pressure - as the grip at the rear fell off a cliff around the halfway point. It took me a few laps to get to grips with this new found suicidal tendency before I could start responding to Sam's advances (GPLRA's race history graph shows this clearly!). I think it's quite possible that if I hadn't managed to drive around the tyres and gain those few 10ths a lap Sam would probably have caught me at the end! Well done to Sam and Doni on the podium spots and also to all the finishers. Bad luck to the DNFs.

We both thought differently and I didn't anticipate your apex speed. That said, losing the car was al my fault, and I'm sorry to those that suffered. You did nothing wrong, just racing miscommunication and running out of talents on my side. Lifting/braking midcorner with 30/85/1 and 52% brakebias gave me too much rotation... @ Clive: I'd say reinstall GEM and get a new/clean/patched gpl.exe to work with from the start. GEM then could build up new exe's for the specific mods/carsets.

I think the HD is OK. I did a save to an external disk but I will have to check how old that is . Maybe tomorrow, as I am a little demoralised right now I am wondering is this is anything to do with the AVG update ?? My PC may be old but it has been pretty good for the past 6 months with very few problems until the AV update.

I also use AVG (the free version) and haven't had any problems with it. Windows Cludging Update, on the other hand... :fuming: And note to self: stay away from Andreas in T2 @ Silverstone...

My race was hampered by a lack of preparation. I suffered three disconnections through qualifying and only a reboot of my internet connection solved the problem. After all those shenanigans, I rejoined with 5 minutes remaining, just enough time for two flying laps, and managed to scramble up to 3rd on the grid. It's a shame what happened to Rob & Axel on the first lap. I've been there many times myself. It's amazing how easy it is to lose the back end once you lift through the corner. It caught me out a few times this race. I too was hoping for a race long battle Tim, but my silly spin on the first lap paid to that. The first half of my race was wildly erratic, with several unforced errors and red-misted driving. Did have some excellent battles through the field mind, though I do feel for Jani, who tried to leave me room on the exit of Club, only to run wide on exit. Apologies for that Jani. Second half of that race was much better and much more consistent. Managed to tame the Lola somewhat and slowly clawed into Tim's lead, but his lead was so substantial at half-distance I was relying on an error on Tim's part. That's a very rare occurrence mind . Finished in 2nd place with a fastest lap for my efforts. Congrats Tim for another victory and to Doni for rounding the podium. Have a good Easter break everyone .
