This is exactly the sort of circuit the Gr. 5's ran round in period. Now, I'm not gonna make this race. I may well be missing, for quite some time too. Expect me, when you see me. Have a great one gents...

My limited testing thinks they are surprisingly easier "less hard" here than I expected

After the disasterous spa race i did try a few of these out on the leaderboards. Fabcar is too inconstent for me but clearly fastest acceleration, Nissan felt quite balanced but massive lag, Capri nice to slide and predictable but touch too much understeer. BMW felt the best of the lot.

Oh Yes! I do love these things, they are SO INTENSE to drive I suspect they have changed the physics for them, because I can now drive them at some sort of pace . Great racing Dieter. Well done to all finishers, they are hard work but very rewarding.

What started out as a very frustrating evening finished rather well Had all sort of controller issues again, at one point I had everything working but only for a clockwise oval as I couldn't steer left or get RRE to assign it to the wheel. After a quick go with AC to check all was ok it was working again. Although in my enthusiasm to assign controller buttons to Ignition and Starter it appears the engine is off until you manually start it. Anyway I got it all sorted, or so I thought, with just over 2 mins a practice left. So I did an out lap and half a quick one before the session ended. At least doing this I discovered that the game had enabled the auto gearbox for me. Turned that off and somehow qualified 2nd, stressed and with no practice. How happy was I with that! Then Carl was slowly pulling away in the race until he fell off. Fortunately for one of several moments he had. Meant I managed to 'cruise' to a win. Never expected that when the game was playing up at the start. Thanks all.

well you see, my crew chief and I were trying these new brake pads and I couldn't get temps high enough to dive deeper in the corners... I felt I had good pace, and though enjoyed the insane torque oversteer was a tad sloppy race for me. I had trouble keeping the thing from cutting grass and annoyingly my wheel is still having issues! Mid race I lost all Force FB and spring, so wheel felt like a loose toy with no load tension or feel. Managed a climb back up and honestly Mark deserved 2nd here, consistency is king, but he must have caught a kerb or something on last lap and went rolling. Grats Pete for keeping things on track better than I. Lets do these again soon.

These currently run every 8th week. Next one for this series will be the GTO cars, which are just as nuts.

Fun race.
Decided on a whim to have a runout in the Nissan for a change, for no particular reason, and had some good racing with Matt. Looking forward to the next one; congrats podium.

First time ever i felt comfortable driving these, just tried to be consistent. Carl seemed to want to play in the sand moreand seemd to end up behind me but i was starting to worry that he was going to pass me before the end. Last lap and got distracted heading into the corner at the end of the back straight , went in too tight and hit the kurb which then rolled my a few times on to he grass. Luckily landed on my wheels only to see Carl go past.
Might actually be looking forward to these again.
