 SEASON 31 Amateurs Trophy (65) : Round 7  JEHONVILLE
It is the first time the UKGPL Circus is coming to Jehonville track.
Jehonville is a little Belgian town near Luxemburg boundary.
The Circuit de Jehonville Bertrix is a motorbike circuit which was used from 1982-1986.
The track is not easy at all and I recommend to do some practices before racing here !

Check the Season 31 details regarding rules and the Amateurs (65) Trophy pages in particular.
Please restrict chat to emergency messages only, including at the end of the race until ALL drivers still racing have crossed the line.

You can have a look at GPLrank site...

for mod 65, the best time is 1'14''55
Tristan did 1'14''58  with the Lotus and Roo 1'15"77 with Lotus too. For both, it was done this week !

Good looking area - but what a horrible place to drive round Smiley

Picked a random setup & after 5 laps was at 1:21.  After another 10 laps 1:19.  For me, there won't be much more improvement, although I may try a couple of other setups in case they suit me better.

What is it with that near-invisible fencing & all those sunken posts?!

How are you doing so far?

Cheers,
Dave.

Point 1 - I have heard of airfield circuits & ovals & road tracks. This one could best be described as a farmyard circuit.
Tristan & Roo have obviously found the magic "tractor" setup or are doing power slides through cow pats.
Having thrashing around in the 1,20's I hooked up a hot lap - 1,19!!!
Rather glad of the flappy paddles - anyone with an H shifter is going to work hard.

I have cleaned the internals of my logitech g27 pedals and shifter. I had left the USB plugged in while the pedals and shifter were disconnected. That may have been a mistake because it is not working now. I may need more time to get it sorted out.

*update - Everything works except the gas pedal and the clutch. When I press the brake, I also get 50% accelerator and 10% clutch. I tried reinstalling the drivers a couple of times. Maybe I need to open the pedals again to check for twisted cables. Alternatively, I have read that windows 10 could be to blame. I may have been experiencing the combined pedals problem in my last race.

Tonight, we will have the great honour to race with the creator of this difficult track : Jean-François Bovy from Belgium.

...so, if you are not happy with this track and find it too difficult, you will be able to directly complain to the author  Wink
