Great track, will this be run for a larger grid than 24?  And does the S2 full-time/reserve status carry over to this?

Wicked, massively looking forward to racing here. Not raced at Laguna since my Indycar days with the Papyrus? software games a fair few years ago...love the corkscrew !  Cool

If it goes smoothly can we add these add-on tracks into a championship season ? It would be ace and would maybe generate new/more interest from other drivers.

I believe the intention is for this to be a free for all, although given the swing in popularity from GT to NGT I'd hope that GT runners would be allowed in first to keep the numbers up.

If we've sorted out the exports and replay problems on the new server then it will be on that.

According to the track files Laguna Seca is listed as 60 grid slots, 12 pit spots and 3 garage spots. Not entirely sure what the pit spots and garage spots are but 60 on the grid should allow up to 60 drivers to start. Worse case is that the 12 pit spots are the number of pit stalls and 3 garage spots is how many per stall which would be 36. So I suggest we run a maximum of 36 on the new server for this race.

If we run the old server it will be 24 still.

It will be a free for all, but I do encourage full-timers from this season to turn up early to get a space and would love to see some more GT cars, heck even I might take one!

We also need to see what our capacity is on the new server anyway, but we want to get the replays and exports sorted before we try and get everyone to help us with a capacity test this week.

I think most of the bugs are offline ones.

The new server is setup for some Laguna practice, so would be great if anyone with free time could give it a go online and report back any problems before Sunday.

Yeah I know Picnic, only so many hours in the day though  Tongue

I saw that at least before two curves the textures, which were supposed to be racing groove / braking points (excuse my Huh English) are missing - right there is a clean road. So its visible where you're supposed to break, but it looks kinda funny. Otherwise its fine, but difficult. I tried with F360 and it must be killing with a GT. Looking forward to carnage.  Grin

Fine Picnic, i'll try it.  Smiley
