Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 699s

Dave gives 1p's Jag a bump in the middle of Laktar. 1p's wheel then stops working, and he is unable to recover the spin. He is left blocking the track, and Mickey Coop runs into him. 1p then promptly exits to clear the racing line.

I'm reducing this to a warning, as Dave backed out in the braking zone but appears to get caught out by the slow mid-corner speed of the Jag.

All members welcome.

Please make sure you have skin pack 1.2, as per note 4 below

Practice: 20:15 (15 mins)
Qualifying: 20:30 (20 mins)
Race: 20:50 (40 laps = ~40 mins)

Track: Anderstorp North
Cars allowed: Austin Mini Cooper S (rating - 3.2), Lotus Elite (rating - 3.0), Jaguar MkII (rating - 2.9), FIAT Abarth 1000TC (rating - 2.6)
Time of Day Setting: 14:00

Server: UKGTL Ladder; in the event that the lobby is unavailable, connect using Direct IP, entering games.avonrise.co.uk in the Add IP box
Password: See this post

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules. Note in particular that we will be using the new pit lane speed limiter starting procedure.
(3) General information on the ladder can be found on the series home page.
(4) This event will be run using a UKGTL carpack v1.2 which will need to be installed prior to racing.

The field was noticably smaller than at Mondello; of course that could just be a blip. We'll do this race at the new time too and if we don't get a good strength field back we'll go back to the old times.

I think it may be holidays.

Baz was on holiday and Tom went off to France Thursday. He'll miss the Andertorp race too

I think I might try the Elite, even though it won't score TC-65 ladder points. I can't imagine it'll get used much any other time!

The correct procedure is brake-swear, not swear-brake.

No points for Elite Sad Might drive it still.....It's elite or arbath Wink

Ok just done these times(-1 sec for pero Wink)
Mini 57.8
Elite 58.2
Arbath 58.8
Jag MkII 1.00.1

The Elite was the most fun to drive but that mingi was easy to get the power down earlier without sliding off Undecided Hmmm what to do...

It still scores ladder points Jon, just in the GTC-65 category.

Not in the GTC-65 ladder though, just in the overall ladder.
