After problems near the end of recent Endurance Academy races (when the Masters server compresses its replay) we have relunctantly decided to change the schedule slightly so that those races are on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, instead of alongside the Endurance Masters events on the first and third Sundays. This means that the 2007 UKGTR schedule starts with round 5 of Season 4 at Donington GP as follows: Endurance Masters: | Sun 7 Jan | NGT Sprint (Masters and Endurance): | Tue 9 Jan | Endurance Academy: | Sun 14 Jan | GT Sprint: | Tue 16 Jan |
followed by Monza GP, Hockenheim National and finally Barcelona GP.

Does that mean we can race in both Masters and Academy to make the numbers up, now they are on separate days. We may have to come up with a "second reserve" rule or something...

It would probably be unfair to the championship battles come to think of it. Unless the people from Masters had to run in a different class to everybody already in academy,? like G3 maybe.

I'd be happy with that from in the Academy, but I'm guessing the Masters won't want us Academy types bumbling round in the Elises!!!

In the first post, shouldn't it be:
NGT Sprint (Masters and Endurance Academy): Tue 9 Jan
So Masters can join in Academy endurance with a G3 car. Then they fill up the NGT class, but is there an alternative for a GT car (slower GT, maybe an unbalanced M3 that goes into GT). I think the suggestion is good, and might just provide very close racing.

No. We're not touching NGT Sprint, only Endurance.

ps. We allowed G3 racing in Season 1 but I want to try and bolster grid numbers by more conventional means first.
