Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 2352s

Baracus attempts a pass of Zacari as he gets a better run out of the previous corner but there is contact at the corner apex. The cars were almost level at the start of the turn-in but there was a significant gap between them. As Baracus had the superior speed he was slightly ahead when the contact was made. I believe Zacari could have given Baracus a little more room as Baracus made every attempt to stay over on the right and onto the kerb to give Zacari as much space as possible.

Dam! Was really hoping it wouldn't be this Tuesday. I'm in Manchester and my flight back will be tight. There is a small possibility I'll make it but it will be cutting it very fine! Here's hoping Smiley

cheers. It just says anderstrop on the News: server status

I will get some practice in tonight. I like Silverstone and was my first ever race.
I used the 550 in the 2 hour endurance and now I have to get the Lambo set up. I have a feeling the Lambo will actually be quicker around here, in my hands anyway.

Looking forward to it and hopefully if goes better than the last few races

Ah, yes I always forget about that, updated now. Shame there is no way to update it automatically from the server.

Not sure I grok GT1 cars, they are great fun to hot lap but I can't say I've enjoyed racing them. Probably because my setups are crap. Even in the draft I couldn't gain on any car I was following and then of course my higher corner speeds meant the tyres kept getting too hot and I kept binning in.

Great first few laps with Freq. I think he had high rear wing, as he was quick in the long corners, but sstruggling on the straights. Everytime, at the end of the straight I had to lift off before the braking point.

In lap 4 or so I had the same speed through the last corner as Freq, and I could get alongside heading towards T1. Car went a bit wobbly there, so I missed my apex by 2 feet or so  Embarrassed.

In the end I could drive it home, which was getting pretty hard towards the end, running on 4 rims  Smiley

That circuit was a blast. 6 places better off on the grid than last week and an 11 position climb last week so I was looking for the win. laugh laugh Unfortunately I only gained 3 positions this time, but hey, not bad.

That circuit was a lot of fun, really challenging. Getting the line right through Sector 1 was really tricky to do every lap. The high speed cornering was quite exciting.

Didn't actually have any overtakes with anyone, but I was close with others most of the race. Had a duel with Eccles for the last 15 minutes, but the Lambo vs F550 at Silverstone when the two drivers are about the same gives the Lambo no chance. It was like being in NGT as the F550 just peed off down the straight. Then I'd catch it through the twisties especially the slow stuff at the end where the awful F550 handling really shows, but still stand no chance. Can't get close enough on the straights (as in even in the slip stream) to make an outbrake manoever. Few times I was right up behind coming onto a straight, but even with the slipstream I couldn't stay with him at all and by the end of the straight there would be a massive gap.

Tyre wear was suprisingly good and I had 8 litres to spare too after putting in 95L to start with and some conservative driving at the start to conserve tyres and fuel to make sure I made it with good grip and enough fuel at the end.

Enjoyed the drive and hopefully the Lambo will be better for overtaking at some of the slower circuits, but it certainly was a hoot to drive, like a very fast go kart.

Well done to Jeff on the win and amazing pace from both you and Freq in qualifying, great stuff chaps.

Online again some stuttering. It's mad, my FPS said 100fps throughout yet there were plenty of stutters. Even when it went down to 23 players still stutters occasionally. No ghost cars or warps this time though so better in that respect.

Same here, the first GT1 race was a non-event due to a disco, and tonight was no fun at all.
