Bloomin' heck you're quick, I literally this second posted this event! Grin

Would be fun Jeff! I don't think I'll keep up with you in the yank tanks though. Maybe if you take the Mustang and I take the Falcon I may have some chance of keeping up. Have to say this is a great little circuit for drifting these american cars big stylee!

Edit: Supertrack version. Small, but not a Mickey Mouse version. Indeed, good for these cars! Grin

Yes, what are the top times going to be?

I've done a couple of 30 minute practices, did a 1:29.3 in the Mustang and then later a 1:28.3 in the Falcon (with better track knowledge) - I'm guessing the difference is probably half a second in reality, but I prefer the more stable handling of the Mustang (imho).

I didn't like the track at all at first, used to the old Zandvoort from GPL, great track.  This one's a bit schizophrenic, mad long straight, awkward technical slow bits at the back.  But it's grown on me once I got over the fiddly-ness of the back section, you can actually flow a bit through it and it's a forgiving track for small errors.  Should be a fun race.  Smiley

Im hopefully going to make this one BUT it all depends on whether my geforce 6200 can handle it. Have sold my Geforce 7600gt as I want to upgrade.

anyone else running a geforce 6200.. Huh Huh

Hopefully see you all later.

My interweb connection is playing silly buggers again. After last week's disaster I think I will sit this one out rather than put myself through the wringer again!

Argh.

The beggining of the race should have told me of things to come. I got rear ended right at the start, but luckily the tank didn't seem to be affected by it. What got me was an absolutley crazy Stop/Go penalty.
My front driver's side tyre grazed over the rumble strip and I got an instant Stop/Go penalty. Not even a warning.

 Angry

Kind of sucks cause I was having a good race too :/ Watched the top 3 battle it out for a while. You guys looked like you were having fun!  laugh
