I have a strange feeling the Vette will be awefull here...but it is on the LOD Grin

The carchoices are very wide for this race, so for the love of God don't make this another Porsche/Pantera show Sad

I'm always considering the BMW, but since I'm not that fast I'm always thinking of which car I'm fastest in. That doesn't mean the fastest car, but the car I'm the most consistent in.

The circuit layout I don't think suits any particular car, you can gain a huge amount in the corners with a planted car and only the S/F straight is long really so it's going to be a battle of straight line speed versus ability to get round corners and not crash into the walls.

... and not crash into the walls.

That last part especially. Get a little too excited chasing someone and you're likely to damage your car. I think something that's relatively easy to drive would fair well here. I've never driven a track like this in GTL, I hope I can make the race, but I might already be on my way to weekend practice come thursday.

I'm thinking I'll take the bimmer too.

This track is a great choice - something a little different, and so rewarding once you get the hang of it...have to deffo get some practice in this week beforehand.

Maybe the ahem*cough*911 for me...or the CSL  Grin

I've not done any laps here as yet, but I'll probably go with the Capri as I'm getting more familiar with it.  Or possibly the Beamer as that was a laugh to drive the other week.

Jonzo, the amount you drink keeps the sponsors happy - but that's part of why we're so popular with them I guess Wink Grin .

Hi all

Will try and be there for my second race Thursday but have my first Chemopherapy session in the afternoon so will depend how I feel. Got told I have lung cancer last Friday morning so will race whenever health allows. But last week was great so hope to be there.

Jeez, real sorry to hear that Peter. I wish you all the best mate on your road to recovery.

I hope the fun you get racing can take your mind away from your problems.
