Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 907s

Pedro Silva has caught Psuedo as they reach Tosa. Pedro makes a late lunge down the inside as Psuedo turns in and there is side contact. Pedro holds a relatively tight line but starts to straighten the exit out just as Psuedo tries to square the corner off to get drive out. There is more contact.

Psuedo flashes his lights in annoyance and then leaves them on. In dry daylight conditions this is against our rules.

Pedro did not reply to the incident report.

NO COMMENT Lips Sealed

I was doing ok, holding my own until i spun off avoiding a spinner in front of me. Recovered though, only lost 1 place to Picnic I think.

I started catching him again slowly and reckoned I would have a chance to make the place back...but over did it on the chicane before the s/f straight.

This put a couple of cars right behind me for a lap till one of them spun...leaving just one....which made contact whilst passing me and I ended up with suspension damage. Tried to continue for a while but was all over the place..picked up a stop and go and had a quick look at the damage to see if it was worth repairing....no chance....and as I wasn't in the best of moods anyway decided to drop out.

Congrats to the winners of the series and the podiums for the race.

Not the best of races here!  I made a setup I thought was ok for the Morgan until I tried it in quali, undrivable.  Resorted to the Vertigo for the race, but got snap oversteer on lap 1 straight into the kitty litter and lost almost 20 seconds.  Eventually after another spin I caught and passed a couple of guys until I got behind SBG.  No way passed with the speed disadvantage and ended up losing it under braking.  I lost the will to keep going after that!

Grats to the winners as usual Smiley

Well that was cwap.

Real shame about spin zacari. Don't think I was naughty but sincere apologies if you disagree. It was so much fun watching you work out a way past and trying to prevent it Cool. Bugger.

I wont mention what happened before that fun as I'm spitting feathers Angry

Had a little, 25mins, practice beforehand and was feeling ok. Set a reasonable time 0.3 sec off Jon and Baracas. 1.48odds

Once I joined official race qualification car felt really different, back end swinging around very easily. Qualified 5th a good bit down on time.

Race started not too badly. I was chasing Mo for a few laps, then he seemed to get quicker and quicker and left me behind.

Gained a position after Baracas had a off, Managed to maintain my gap over him and watching Mo ease away to a 7 sec gap.

With a few laps to go Mo had to pit for some reason gifting me 3rd.

I'm more than happy with that as car was not very good. I was driving far slower round a few bends as I knew if I pushed it I would spin a few times not to mention the possibility of running wide and getting penalties.

I decided to keep it smooth and safe and it worked better than expected

phew that was a tough race, very hard fought just to get in top 10 .

Was pleased with a late 8th on the grid, leap-frogging 4 others on my final run and pipping TT by a mere 10th  Tongue
...it was a pleasure mate  Grin

Race went well but i wanted to get past the dueling Mosler and Pribs turbo as i assumed they would both cost me time. It seemed to pan out as i thought with me having to do some very heavy braking to avoid rear ending either of them under brakes, allowing TT and shark to close right up on my derrier.
TT got a good run on me exiting Piratella and i stayed too wide down through Acque minerale thinking he was alongside...allowing him to scamper up the hill ahead of me Sad
I then chased him for a lap or two until he lost it through that bloody vari alta chicane and i set off once again after Pauls Mosler.
It took me flipping ages to catch him, great pace in that mossie Paul Cool, and when i did it was a matter of getting close and trying to get him under braking. After several laps i got a better exit out of Tosa and drafted past him up the hill to get the inside line up at Piratella   He then gave me a hard time for a few corners.
Then my bloody pedals slid sideways under the desk and i went straight over the grass on the final corner and lost all power down the straight as foot had come off accelerator  Angry...this allowed the ever resourceful Mark Mc to sail past un-hampered after i had kept him behind through sheer hard work for many laps  :'(  I was gutted after just gaining a place and then losing it so cheaply  Sad
It also meant Paul closed right up again and he kept me pretty honest until race end, especially when i had a slow sideways spin under braking at Tosa, where he very almost repeated the same overtake move on me at piratella except the ferrari was able to brake just those few metres later. We both gave each other plenty of room on both occasions so thanks for the clean and fair racing  angel
The spin cost me any chance of re-catching Mark Mc and Prib so i had to settle for 7th place Smiley

Congrats to the race and class winners !! thumbup1

No you were fine, I jinked left and tried to brake up the inside but it just threw the rear-end out and I couldn't hold it Sad  Was good fun up to there!  Just a shame I was so far back to start with.

Not to exciting for me, Car was good early on, then tyres or summat went terribly wrong... was sliding around allover place, and eventually ended up last...was decidin weather to give up when i went a bit to quick into 2nd chicane, 1 Mosler buried in the tyres....End of

Sorry for running into ya Simon, when you were waitin for a 360....to busy going sideways to notice ya  Undecided, then very next corner someone turns in on me when i have no chance of avoiding a collision and round we both went again, that was pretty much what killed me tyres i think Huh  Angry

MJ!  taz
Good job!  Cool
Race started ok, was attacked AT ONCE by Shark and only porkers engine saved me from losing a place in the first 20  seconds. Set after MJ, decided to bring back some old memories...  Grin Was going nice, started pressure and...  Angry  That chicane, MAN! Cost me THREE spins. 3 spins! Could be me, Psuedo, that cost you time. Sorry buddy.  Undecided  Every time I went to chase the driver I came outta spin after, I spinned again.  Angry  Ended at 15th place, then it went slowly up and the remaining part of the race towards the end I was stable and fast. Came close to Shark, was gaining 1 sec per lap.  Roll Eyes  What was happening there, Shark? Were your tyres that worn? Finished 10th, but 25 seconds behind 9th, so it was all I could accomplish in this circumstances.  Smiley
Decided at the very last moment before the race to go with soft/med combo. Was training with meds, so that might have been the cause of a bit oversteer through THE chicane. Tyres were not in so bad shape at the end: 17 front softs and 12 rear meds, so I guess it was a right decission and I was tackling THE chicane wrong.  Sad
Had a nice tousle with Reign Man and Ginsters. Oh, and with Shark. Almost.  Grin  He decided to make some doughnuts 5 minutes early.  Grin
