Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 136s

Woltshire Tony is trying to pass Psuedo on the downhill straight before the track flattens out, and is levelled with Psuedo just before braking for the right hander. Psuedo then gets just in front of Wiltshire as they enter the turn. Psuedo then cuts in in front of Wiltshire. Wiltshire then starts accelerating again and hits Psuedo's rear, forcing him into a 360 spin. Both drivers continue without damage, but this should be avoided as many drivers are barely able to miss contact as they approach this accident.

Wiltshire could easily have lifted to give room to Psuedo who was in front as they started turn-in for this corner.

All members welcome.

Practice: 20:15 (10 mins)
Qualifying: 20:25 (25 mins)
Race: 20:50 (30 laps = ~80 mins)

Track: Spa Francorchamps
Cars allowed: Any 76, plus the GT-40.
Time of Day Setting: 17:00
Start: STANDING
Pit Stops: You must make a minimum of one pit stop during which you must take on at least 1 litre of fuel or change your tyres. You cannot take your mandatory stop at the end of the pace lap, or with less than 1 lap to go.

Server: UKGTL Classics Cup
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.ukRules.
(3) The season will be run using the UKGTL Skin Pack 1.6 which will need to be installed prior to racing; please get it from the downloads page.
(4) The AI control should be turned off so that you have control of the car at all times, including pitting. Your player file should therefore read
Autopit="0"
Force Autopit Off="1" // Forces autopit always off
No AI Control="1" // AI never has control over car
(5) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Woohoo Grin.

I guess this is the standard Spa that is in the game?

I'll take the fuelslurping, tyre-eating Vette, eventhough it really sucks here Grin

You guess right. Wasn't exactly sure what season standard tracks were taken from. Is it 2004?

The GTL one is the 2004 layout with the revised entry to the Bus Stop.

I dont see how 42 laps of Spa in these cars equates to 80 minutes (even for Jeff). It's got to be nearer to 2 hours. Also have the TVR, Cobra etc in your previous post now been replaced by the 76 cars. Just checking - these things seem to keep changing every couple of days (will we do 80 laps or 80 minutes? - and will we only find out on the day, lol)

You're right, even a GT1 car can't do it that fast Smiley. It's more like 30 laps for these cars I think.

What daylight setting will the server be set to? Just so my offline practising can be as accurate as possible?

I'd like to see someone manage 35s for 30 laps!!  Think the pace may be a few seconds slower than that - 35/36s are hotlaps from aliens in a Pantera, imagine doing that for 80 mins.   Shocked

But 30 laps does equal 2:40 pace, so that's reasonable.

If I take a Beemer it'll be nearer 50s!

Should look nice with a low sun, hope it doesn't blind us into any corners.   Wink

35's would be amazing Grin. That would make Jon 4sec off pace, and I've never seen that Cheesy. Or we must invite Huttu, as he can "only" do a 35 in the  Pantera Cheesy

ok...endurance......wonder what the dictionary says about that word?.........everyone has asked for endurance....this thread seems to be a bit of a complaint coz the race might run too long... Undecided laugh

Oh...here it is...just found it.

Quote
endurance   Show phonetics

the ability to keep doing something difficult, unpleasant or painful for a long time:
Running a marathon is a test of human endurance.
The pain was bad beyond endurance.

put up with 80 laps.....ooops 80 mins, or as close as we can arrange it.....or stick to Cheesy Grin Grin wimpey sprints
