Moderator's Report

A small turnout and a runaway victory for Hristo at his favourite Papy track. Hopefully the numbers were in part due to the UK "bank holiday effect", and we'll have more next time.

Clive and Kruger get side-by-side into the jungle lord's corner, and there's warp contact between them as Clive takes a line that's just a bit too close for comfort as he gets past on the outside. Although the ultimate contact was a fairly large warp, Clive was unable to see Kruger and should've taken a wider line through T1 as there's always a good chance there is someone tucked up in your blind spot.

Warp incident

Very low turnout last night with only 6 starters. Second was the best possible result given Hristo's imperious form and Lorenzo's absence. Neil had it in the bag and he was visibly faster than me in the same chassis but he made three mistakes which at first brought us closer but last one let me through with 15 seconds to spare so I could afford to drive safely to the end, watching him eat into the gap but running out of laps. It was quite fun dicing with Neil.

Had an unfortunate moment with Clive into T1 where the warp kicked in and threw him off the line. Fortunatelly, Clive quickly recovered and didn't lose any more places.

Grats to the rest of the podium.

Yeah that was somewhat annoying Tongue I got stuck on a bank and had to mess about to get it moving again. Got the red mist afterwards and starting driving like my life depended on it, even though I knew I wasn't going to close that gap.

How got their tyres the hottest then? I had 320°f on both the rears for the last 5 laps Shocked

My pribluda shows in Centigrade and my front left, at the times I was pushing behind or ahead of you reached 145 C (or 293 F). Rears were never reaching that though so you were literaly driving the wheels of your Brabham Smiley
