Moderator's Report

Hristo's early bath has allowed Lorenzo to catch him in the championship, and with Clive finishing 2nd we now have 2 distinct battles for 1st and 3rd (although there are plenty of races left).

No incidents reported, so results stand as published.

It went like this: ...Hmmmmmm.........ooooh!.........doh!.........rats......oh well.....ooh!......ooooooh!.....double ooooh!....shame.....wow........woohoo!!!!.......oh bugger!!

Hmmmmmmm....new version of circuit and struggling to find a line and a setup that works

oooh!...Fez goes well and respectable lap times

doh..... Hristo destroys my short lived euphoria with a blistering qually lap...again!

rats....give up on trying for grid position and use qually to settle into race mode.

oh well.....field squirts away from start like a pack of greyhounds leaving John and myself trailing behind

ooh!......... tangle at T1 and Kruger plays "hop over the polos"...move up one place

ooooooh!....Find that I can not only keep pace with ken in front but close up on him :O)

double oooh!....Ken slows dramatically up the hill and I sweep majestically past ( well it felt majestical to me!!) move up another place

shame....... Hristo limping engine appears blown....move up another place

wow!.......up to second place !!!!

woohoo!!.....closing on Lorenzo but I suspect he is cruising, a couple of half spins at the bottom of the hill ( the only corner I never got right throughout the whole race, not even once!!) but still bring it home in 2nd spot in a Masters race

oh bugger!...realise that coming second will mean that the next race ..another new circuit!!!...and I will be in the BRM or Honda catagory!?!?

Hrummph  the price of success I guess???

If you mean the one before the final hairpin you seemed to close right up on me there when you where chasing me. So if you weren't getting it right what was I doing?!!

For me qually wasn't quite as good as I expected, but I wasn't far off my PB so I can't complain too much.

After Kruger's T1 mishap I stayed on Lorenzo's tail for one lap and felt comfortable but from there he just eased away. Clive then started putting on the pressure. If I strung a good lap together I could pull a small gap but I kept making small errors and he was right back. Then going up the hill my wheel moved on the desk and I had a right job putting it back in position while trying to stay on track. I was then chasing Clive and it was much the same. String a few good laps in and I was closing but make a small error and the gap opened up again. Then bang, the motor went pop. I must curb my enthusiasm, I do tend to drive in an aggressive manner with regard to the motor.
