Moderator's Report

Server replay time: 42s

Ade runs into Tibs at race start.

Tibs was very slow off the line and Ade reacted but hit the clutch pedal instead of the brake. (Clutches, who needs em)only minimal contact was made.

Awareness, caution and expect the unexpected off the start line....ALWAYS.

  • Ade (Ade_B)penalty — Rear end shunt — 1 place lost
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 86s

Martin had an incident round the left hander and his car ended up sideways on the track. Ade was following and had little chance to see the incident and even less chance of seeing Martin's stranded car and clips the front of it quite heavily.

I must point out once again that great caution and enhanced awareness must be shown when approaching incidents, especially in the early stages where the cars are heavily bunched.

  • Ade (Ade_B)caution — Care approaching incidents
For advice only - unreported by victim, so penalty disregarded

Server replay time: 255s

Dan passes Tibs approaching the righthander but only manages to draw level before the turn in point.
Dan turns in normally, not realising Tibs is still there and contact is made sending both cars off track.

Should be a good one this.

Martin, aren't you a bit of a specialist on this track? Seem to remember you've done quite well here previously  Huh

A coach tour of northern England.... why?
I suppose it's true you don't get proper pies and peas down south. I'll wave as you go past Rochdale on the M62
 Cheesy

I guess by Martin you don't mean me, you mean M Blunder.
I've never driven here before in GTL, might have done some laps in GPL years ago.
So far I can hit 21s with some effort and monstering the odd kerb in the Beemer
Capri is a few tenths slower for me, and the tanga (lightweight panty) is a couple
of seconds slower with me driving it.

Is MUCH faster track than I expected! it's more like a Cambell's Le Mans.

Damn, the wheezy Panty is great fun around here but I really doubt I can be on the pace with it  Undecided Its two seconds slower than the Brown Cwapri in my hands. Think my driver of the day will go to anyone wheeling the Panty around here on Thursday, gawd bless you  Smiley

I'll try and make it for some practice. I've not turned a single lap at the track yet for a variety of reasons (Spore coming out, real life issues, wheel getting more and more buggered and I can't afford to replace it) so I'll probably be hopeless, but I thought that at Thruxton and had a brilliant race.

Hoping to jump on at some point mid eve so hope to see you there, but definitely no Panty for me  winkiss

I'm getting some problems with disconnects unfortunately, started when I chose the Capri...at the same point approaching the last chicane on the first lap I get connection lost. Seems to be happening with the Beemer now too so not been able to practice.

No idea why but i've seen it before - may have to reinstall AGAIN but sure it'll be cool for the race.

Ooh, I needed that. Cheers chaps. Managed a pretty pedestrian (compared to others) 1:23 a few times. So I guess that'll secure me a place on the back row of the grid  Grin (if I get my permission slip signed by the boss & new jnr boss)

Just a quick one chaps - got caught out by a Windows update last night just to warn ya.

Also, the new Beemer sounds are incredible, a bit like the E20 if you've heard those - http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=8613

If I can get the internet working for long enough to join, can you warn me if there's a lot of lag or a high ping time? I'll disconnect if it's causing any problems.
