Can't believe they run the GT1's and GT2 around here together! GTC seems far too quick for this place as it is and its very narrow.

oh crap, didnt realise this was tomorrow  Shocked Jeez, i got so fixated with Spa that i havent run a single proper lap here yet  Sad

This track ranks up alongside Adria as a very crap circuit for GT racing IMO. They seem to choose some odd random circuits for the FIA series.  Huh
Not looking forward to this round.

God the Mosler's a right dog around here. Its a bumpy circuit but i dont think its particularly abrasive as it seems to take an age to get any tyre temps in even med rears. you can forget the fronts! I'm understeering everywhere. Dont seem to be going that much quicker than GT3's Sad

Hm, I should have an advantage here, then.  Wink  I think it's a technical track, suited ok for single class racing. Takes two, three laps to warm the tyres, but then they hold ok. Low abrasion, I agree. Which is good as some sliding around will be great for a change.  Smiley

With close corners it should be loads of opportunities for smart moves.  shifty

managed to get some laps in last night, but not enough to learn its intricasies. Still dont like it, more suited for motor bike racing than wide GT cars and you just dont feel like you get any flow or rhythm going.
The tightening radius turns, narrow kerbs and slippery grass run offs may cause some chaos this evening.  Tongue
Its going to be very difficult to overtake and easy to have contact !

Like others report, i had trouble getting temperature into the tyres but doubt soft fronts would last 50mins.  Undecided
Anyone know if the fuel reading is correct for this track ?

Dont think i'll run tonight, it'll be safer Wink I wont last the whole race anyway. Pit lane is far too narrow and you cant see if anyones coming, track is a nightmare I have no idea in the last section.

dont know what went wrong there. Undecided

All was fine until someone joined during qually and then my frame rates dropped by half or so. I had already done a lap with no problem but then that happened.  Huh

Quit the lobby and game 3 times to try and solve but frames were shocking and had severe stuttering. Tried dropping my detail levels but that didnt work either. Have had no problems offline with this track.

Tried to stay in the race hanging at the back and tried all different camera views to ease the fps but i was just getting a headache and dropping further and further back so had no choice but to quit  :'(

Despite not liking that track to start with it grew on me with more laps under my belt so shame i couldnt race.

Really poor turnout too  Sad

Some great racing there with a number of guys, Picnic, The Prof, Gizmo, and J Duijis but to name some, close tight mature racing.

Sorry to J Duijs, I put my right tyre on the grass :'( and decided to do a 360, heard your engine coming round the same bend and then tried to get off the race line, sadly resulting in getting in your way. Once we both pitted I had to do the honourable thing and wait for you so that you could rightly pass me for position. Smiley we were having a good battle til then Grin )

Well what can I say?

I still dislike that track...poor grip...bumpy...not a long enough straight to light a fag up.  Roll Eyes

but......MY FIRST EVER WIN AT SROU[/i]

It was very sweaty work though...Brian took pole but never managed to open up a decent lead...never more than 3 seconds...then his tyres went off about 3/4 distance and I closed to within a few tenths. His backside was waggling badly and I was sat hoping for a mistake or two...and got it as he ran wide and seemed to get a wheel on the ice grass...Just managed to avoid a collision and take the lead.
Never got a moments rest for the entire race from TT either...never more than 2 secs behind and closing to within a tenth or two quite regularly....Great drive though.

YEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.  Grin Grin Grin
