UKGPL Season 17 - Inter-League race - Rouen-les-Essarts

This race wil be at the earlier start time of 8pm UK, 1900 GMT

This is the seventh Interleague race of our season 17, and will use the 67 carset.  Our guests will be the French league F1Legends: http://www.f1legends.ch/.  The F1Legends administrator who had organised the race from their side last time has temporarily retired, and it seems that many of their top drivers will be competing in another race.  However they have gallantly agreed to have their 'B' team race us at short notice, many thanks.  F1Legends won the first race between our clubs at Mexico City last season, though Hristo got the top spot on the podium.  Each league is to field nine cars, and there are no chassis handicaps, drivers will be racing to complete the distance and score points for their team.  Let's have an especially generous welcome for our guests from the F1Legends 'B' team!

Please be in VROC UKGPL chatroom passworded 'Savage' by 18:55GMT, (You will need to set up a channel called ukgpl if you haven't already done so)

If you are short of a Cooper driver, I'm happy to make up numbers.

But don't be afraid to make me a Sub, as I've said before 67s are not my favourite Smiley

I'm not 100% sure I'll be able to make this race on time so it would probably be best to put me down as a reserve.

I'm planning on making this round.  Ferrari is best, I think, but am happy with any marque.

We seem to have been doing well with the previous car assignments so I'd stick to those for this one as well. More soon. Hope we get all 9 + reserves if possible.

OK, people,

Following the success from our race against oAo I'm willing to keep the same allocations as much as possible, so the current assignments are as follows:

Eagle.....................Jethro
Ferrari....................Doni
Brabham.................John
Brabham.................Evil
Honda....................Hristo

The following are not decided, especially the Coopers. Since so many people want them, I'd like to hear who is more likely to be a reserve and who's certain they'd make it 100 % (and be prepared) for the race.

Lotus.....................Sam... who wants to be a reserve, so I can give this to whoever of the following 4 isn't lucky to get a Cooper.  Grin

In order of posting their burning desire to Cooperate:
2x Cooper...................Mike (who leans toward being a reserve), Will, Bernie, Fulvio

BRM ......................Would you honor us again, Dave? My 2nd choice would be Fulvio in the case he doesn't get a Cooper, being a BRM specialist and so as well...

And welcome to Christophe and F1Legends, we're looking forward to a good race!

P.S. I have an idea for the Cooper assignments, we could host a test session and put you 4 against each other and the top 2 could secure the seats.  Wink

Anyway I'll be happy even in a BRM if needed, I love the track.
