I'm reducing my involvement in this, so won't be doing all the races. Smiley

So is there a match race on 13th Sept?

It's my son and daughter's birthday and I will need to work hard on the marketing of such an event!

I should be available for all these races, but will give as much warning as I can, if I cannot make any events.

Yes the race is against Trellet and will be at Mexico.  Not sure of the car set but Trellet want to use the 60FPS patch so that pretty much restricts it to the 67s (I know you are not too keen on the 60FPS patch Clive but Trellet say a 36FPS client can work with a 60FPS server.  I think we are planning to use their 60FPS server).

Unforunately Dave has decided to retire from UKGPL so we are going to have to shuffle round the moderators to cover off the interleagues (that's code for it's probably up to me to take on the organization for these races).

it's my belief that 36fps clients and 60fps clients can't mix and if it's a 60fps server i won't be doing the race .

Sounds like Trellet have worked out how to win before anyone even joins the server.

Same, I'm against the use of 60 fps. Not everyone has a NASA shuttle for a PC. And Dave quit??  Huh Do you mean UKGPL altogether or just his administration functions?

Quit altogether as far as I am aware,  Dave didn't give any reasons but I know he has been having a lot of trouble with his PC although I doubt that is the primary factor.  He has been working very very hard for UKGPL behind the scenes and he has my respect and gratitude for that; perhaps he just needed a break.  After all, Season18 has followed closely on the heels of Season17.

Unfortunately Trellet have had to pull out of the Inter League race planned for the 13th, I'm trying to arrange a replacement.

The rest of the Inter League calendar is pretty sparsely populated so I'm going to have to get something sorted quickly.  To do that I need to be able to act on my own and make the decisions as to what tracks and cars we use (where it is UKGPL's choice).  I won't have time to negotiate with the opposition and collaborate with the team.

So to make sure I have the best chance of negotiating a series that you will like, please will all drivers registered for the inter leagues post your track and car set preferences on this thread please.  I'll try my best to organize a set of races that will be popular with everyone (well I have to be optimistic in this job don't I)
