Season 18 - Historic Trophy

The rules for the Historic Trophy are much the same as last season but this time there will be three chassis groups.  In previous seasons there has been a disincentive to use certain cars.  This change in the handicapping rules is to try to encourage a wider use of all the available chassis.

Please check the Season 18 pages for details regarding rules and the Historic pages in particular.

The races will be run as follows:

Car set: 66 F1 only
Date: Every second Tuesday from 15th September 2009
Time: 9:00pm London UK Time (30 mins practice, race starts at 9:30pm)
Race Length: Long
Damage Model: PRO
Server: 6.UKGPL
Race List: IGOR

Finally got round to trying out the 66 mod last week & really enjoyed both the 2L & 3L cars. So I'll give this a go if that's OK. Haven't driven many laps in the 66s yet so this should be a real baptism of fire!

I've only really raced 65's online before and usually drive the 66's for fun offline (because i'm not the fastest).

However, i'm willing to have a go with the 66's and keep it 'steady-eddie' at the back of the grid unless its at a circuit where i feel more confident.  Wink

I've ticked the less than 75% option, though i may make more. Will see how it goes.

I enjoyed the races I participated in last year, despite the varied success I had. Hopefully with more practice and the right attitude, I can achieve more. I enjoy these cars. Smiley

Not sure how many I'll make, but decided to join up for the rest of the season.  Cool
