Hi guys!

I hope you don`t mind announcing this fun event here.
One of your (and our) racers Clive Loynes suggested posting here to me.

This is the first GPLRACER PnG race ever and only 3 drivers have signed up so far as we are a GPL league.  
So I hope some of you around here might join us.
The more drivers we have the better it is.

Please post here or at GPLRACER forum (in case you are registerd) if you want to join this race.

Just gone a round with Tom Schlosser in his Cobra 289 Coupe.  It was a knockout!

1:44 was the order of the day.

Just binned the E-Type and dragged my Riverside Cobra out from the back of the garage.

What do you think of a small PnG Cup in 2010?

Starting with 5 races, 1 race each month?
In case there is much interest we could do another 5 races, which makes a total of 10 races in 2010.

Race day could be Friday evening at about 20:00 or 21:00 CET (GTM+1 standard winter time). 1st race could be on 29.01.2010 (Friday).

Cars would be the same for each race. I will check first which cars fit best.

Races would be about 30 laps, so you have to do a pit stop.

Weather would be changeable, means you can have rain during race and might have to change to rain tyres.

Tracks would be GPL classics.


What do you think guys? Who would be in?
Is it worth for me spending time on this?

GPL tracks, 30 laps, start at 20.00, 1 pit stop and changeable weather. All what I love in a good race.
Unfortunately it is too early right now for me to commit. Only in January I can see if I can attend and
probably not to all races.
But the scenary is completely perfect for me!
