Problems connecting to the Lobby?  Download this:

All members welcome

Practice 1: ~19:20 (60 mins)
Qual 2: 20:20 (20 mins)
Race: 20:40 (40 mins) note: no warmup!

Cars allowed:  Ford Mustang NTK Gr5, Ford Falcon Sprint, Ferrari 250 Berlinetta, Ford Mustang BSCC Gr2 (not BSCC Gr5)

Weather: Dry
Track: UKGTR Monza (download from here as part of the UKGTR Track Pack v1.2)
Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Start: STANDING

Minimum Pit-stops: None required.

Server: UKPnG2.1 S2 Classic
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here, 2.1 patch from here and enable terrain patch.
(4) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page
(5) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of every-one's connection will be reduced.
(6) Remember that P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function, but our gentleman's agreement is that everyone will stick to a speed limit for the pit-lane of 40mph/60kph.

Err, due to a slight miss calculation Embarrassed... this event will also be a "Classic Cup" event like Goodwood was.

Then the two series (the other being "The Shot Glass Challenge") will alternate weeks. I promise Grin

Good point about track cutting Ian, although I did drive the track as I would normally with that version.

The 250 is great fun here Smiley Mid 18's in that and same in GR2 stang so far, with more to come from stang I think. The GR5 Stang is almost a second faster than those after just five laps. Mind you the server was "wonky" tonight so maybe its a better match?

Managed a 2:20.2xx in the Berlinetta last night but don't expect to do too well here as a fast lap seems to be down to how much curb you can crash over at the three chicanes.  An I'm really bad at that.

Shame we can't give these beasts their proper home on the 60s version of the track.

We could Clive - the 67 version is out there  Smiley

It has some graphical glitches though unfortunatly  Sad


For me this'll be either the Falcon or the 250 as I adore both of them - hope the Fezza is up there time wise as I only recently had a long race at Monza in my Mann Falcon so want a change...

This is something that anyone who races UKGTR2 will likely experience (including me).
What I tried was:

1) Select the option to "uninstall the track pack" from c:\GTR2
2) Run the installer again & select c:\png

Ta da.

But I will mention it to Dave, or you can if you like?

Thanks Chris, will give that a try.

Also, how will the track appear on the server?  I looked after you said that it had been changed to UKGTR Monza but it still said Monza 2003.  No mention of UKGTR.

2:20 in the F250 Berlinetta for me. Have only done a handful of laps though as it feels like forever driving around the GP in these old cars  Tongue Thought the stangs would monster it down the straights?,..not tried them yet. Be almost rude to use a US job in front of the Tifosi  Wink

Don’t seem to be able to reinstall it on GTR2 without removing it from PnG.
