You will get 5 tokens for joining season, and 10 tokens for starting a race. With 15 tokens you can get Ferrari Wink

According to the division page (http://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?action=LM2R&group=248&theme=6) you get 10 tokens at the start of the season and 10 for starting a race. So that makes 20, meaning that for your first race you can choose whatever car you like, given that the Lotus is the most expensive at 20 tokens.

I might take the Eagle anyway, it's easier to drive than the Lotus.

A driver who fails to start any of the first 5 races will only be eligible for an initial allocation of 5 tokens (rather than 10)

Hi,

I have a vacation comming up so I ask for a wild card for the Carthage 1935 race. It would really be great to try the 67 cars for once. If it`s OK please tell me what car I may use. I`m not sure I have fully understood the tokens system.

Göran

Goran joining 67s, I might as well retire! Too many fast drivers to compete with lately and I've no motivation to step up my game.  Roll Eyes

Anyway, 67s are the best school for driving skills, Goran, hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Phil!

I also read in the division page and came to the conclusion that I would get 15 tokens, just wanted to get it comfirmed, thanks Pod!  And the rest for trying to mess with my mind.

And don`t worry H, it will be only the one race at Carthage 1935, at least before I can think of some other way to make a living besides driving buses on Sunday evenings.

Evening...

I'd just like to show my interest in entering or being reserve for the last two races of this cup's season, being new to UKGPL and a little confused as to how the joining process works apologies if I've waded in here and placed an entry where I shouldn't have.

Hi Joe, just vote at the top of this thread and you're in.
From your times in practice I'd be leaning towards putting you with the faster (Works) drivers. However, if you feel you need a little more 'learning' time with other drivers, and as there are only two races left, feel free to go for the Privateers. Let me know which you would prefer...

Thanks, seeing as I don't have much in the way of online GPL experience, I'll stick with being a privateer for now.  Smiley

OK you're in as a reserve in the Privateers - in reality you should get to race.
A big welcome to UKGPL.
