I think the majority would agree with you Hristo. Apparently most are content to accept parallel Universes. A couple of clues would be the rate of change of direction of that 1955 Lancia - more like late 60's, but without the rubber. And the added gravity applied to our superhero's body over the bumps - not the upward force, but while he drops back into his seat. That increases with video speed, not with road speed.
Without digitization, most would never see these old films. There's the rough, and the smooth to it. And most don't visually know what these machines were capable of any more. It becomes a matter of, "The quickness of the hand, deceives the eye." Umm . . . or something parallel to that!
