Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules especially the rules about in-game chat messages.
(3) You will need to install Power and Glory v2 from here, 2.1 patch from here and enable terrain patch.
(4) Drivers are reminded that they must select ISDN as their bandwidth, otherwise the stability of every-one's connection will be reduced.
(5) P&G has no 'Pit Speed Limiter' function. You may go as fast as you like in the pits, but please exercise caution. Penalties will be handed out for causing contact in the pit lane. Use your best judgement when making your pitstop during the race.

Is this the correct link for the version of the track we need, GP 1954 - 72?  Link says Oulton Park 2005.  Huh

The Oulton Park 2005 download has 4 track configurations. Classic is the one I'm assuming matches the track name in LM2. I will check though to verify it is correct. Bottom line is we will use the "Classic" layout in the Oulton Park 2005 installer.

Yes, I can confirm that Mike. We did a fun UKPnG race there using the classic layout about 1 year ago Undecided

Thanks going on info on link  only.  Yes we did - I raced there then.  Very similar to the GTL track we raced on recently.

Hmm. My spirits soared when I saw "classic" as the one with shell hairpin and no chicanes is really
the "classic" track, If this is the one that uses shell (the full length course) but has the chicanes in
then it's better than the Fosters or Island one, but I seem to remember people getting hurled into
space at the mere touch of the inside edge of the chicane imediately after shell. The real original
course without the chicanes is a classic  layout, and like the Albis the old one is way better.
Of course there may not be a convert of the GPL Oulton....

I just had my first ever run on this track ..... I think it's a blast, and one of the best tracks I've ever tried - it has it all    thumbup1

I'm gonna try everything I can to try and get back in time for this last race of the season. I'm convinced, that this awesome track will insure lots of drama, many teas of rage and lost hopes of glory........ and above all, fun by the ton  Grin Grin

Did a few laps, and yes this is the proper track version, the maker has made some nasty sharp edges around
the chicanes, but at least we don't need to go through them  Cool

Being a "Then and Now" series, I should be doing the version with chicanes next.

True, you should, however if you did, there would be reports of Royal Navy Missile boats off the coast of
Fishers Island.  Grin

Can't find it.   Sad

Just restarted the server as it wasn't showing in the lobby. There's maybe some problem here as I needed to twice restart the UKGTR practice server on Friday and Saturday. Both servers were showing as running, but were not appearing in lobby even though the broadcast to lobby option was ticked  Huh

Do the servers time out after a while if no-one has been on them since they were started?
