All members welcome.

Grid/server capacity: 25

Practice: 20.00 (25 mins)
Race 1 Qualifying: 20:25 (15 mins)
Race 1: 20:40 20mins, then following shortly afterwards with reverse grid
Race 2: 20mins

Track: Zandvoort Club
Cars allowed: Any car from WTCC06 or WTCC07
Time of Day Setting: 14:00
Weather: DRY
Start: STANDING
Tyre wear: Normal
Fuel consumption: Normal

Server: www.simracing.org.uk
Password: see above

Notes:
(1) It's best if all drivers can make sure they are connected before the Qualifying session as drivers on track during qualifying will not see cars that join after they are on track until they go back to the garage.
(2) Please make sure you are fully aware of the SimRacing.org.uk Rules.
(3) Driver lists can be found on the championship standings page

Special Notes: The grid procedure for Race 07 events is slightly different from GTL/GTR2. Upon joining the grid, you won't be able to rev your engine until all drivers are present on the grid. Do not attempt to esc back to garage or you will be DQ'd.

Why use Club??? Please use the full length of this beautifull track, now you miss out on some of the best corners.  Sad

I like club because its a pretty busy track which works well with the TC's.

I will use the GP track for the week after though in the Extreme cars.

tried the club layout last night, not a fan and you lose a big portion of the great and challenging zaandvort circuit. Seems like another config designed for the front wheel drive shopping trolleys  Roll Eyes So i'll see you there in my rwd Beemer  Grin

Low 1:08's so far.

oh dear...2 dnf's with smashed suspension  Embarrassed   Been telling myself for a while to try some fwd cars out as i just cant get some good results in the beemer. Its too easy to spin or oversteer into the armco on corner exit.

Sad turn out...6 cars, i think we lost the momentum that we had just gained through the TC series, should have kept it going.

Its a real shame as these cars look fantastic in game. I was amazed at the detail on Lazlows beemer when he lost the front splitter but all the engine and cooling gubbins were visible on the external track cameras  Cool

Congrats to the dominatrix that is JR on his wins  Shocked  Cool

No worries.

That's the last time I use that beemer...what a dog!!
In the first race my tyre wear was off the scale, I just couldn't get the power down without the rear moving around ??
In the 2nd race I think I managed to hit every armco I could see and bent my suspension.

Might have to go back to the trusty Peugeot next time.

Please restart the other sims that you turn off, after your event finishes. Especialy the ones that have a race on the following Thursday e.g. GTL and P&G.

Thanks
