There is now a fantastic recreation of the famous Targa Florio available for GTL. Get the download here http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=33750

If your not sure what the Targa Florio is, just google it.

Track loading times vary and some folk are having trouble getting it to load/run. You probably need a fairly high spec PC and a minimum of 3GB RAM is required, although some have reported running it on less RAM.

If you have completed a lap please use this thread to report your laptimes and what car you used.

Also post if your having trouble running it. There is a patch that can help. It tells GTL.EXE that your PC has more RAM available if required. Get the patch here http://www.gamefront.com/files/20792696/4gb_patch_exe. Just run the patch and point it at your GTL.EXE file. The patch does the rest.

Looking forward to reading your lap times  Shocked

No lap times yet chaps?

I haven't successfully finished a single lap myself yet  Roll Eyes

But I have to say that the quality of this track is very high.

Watch out for the types of barriers at turns and bends.......they often let you know how tight that corner will be. That's a top tip  Cheesy

You forgot to include the Alfa GTA  Wink

Personal favourites from your list would be...

Porsche 904 GTS
Renault Alpine A110
Porsche 911 S

Which I think says something about my preference for cars with engines at the wrong end laugh

I've used the Alfa a couple of times in my ill fated attempts to actual finish one lap. However it did not match my selection process criteria e.g. ran between 1960-1970 and actually finished.

However I'm sure I could be bribed persuaded.

BTW I'm considering making next years LC memorial trophy race a Targa based affair.
