Should say big thanks to Bob and the skins mods, mainly Morten in this case, for putting the pack together . Ta and much appreciated. Links to track and 1.6 pack will be with you shortly but if you want to try track in meantime, its the version available from no-grip.

Ian, you might want to change the title of the thread as it says UKGTRL.

Did I miss something here? What happened to the proposed GTL endurance race at Spa on 21 February.

Cos of 'LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR' day yesterday...where everyone one was out for a meal...or grovelling at their wives feet, We have moved the test race for the skins to this date and the Spa enduro will be on the following thursday.

I'm out of the loop here. Is that enduro race going to be part of season 5, or is that a race on it's own?

Quote from Ginster in Endurance thread "If all goes well in test race, it will form part of a seperate Enduro championship, not fun runs but seperate from S5. Therefore it will not penalise those who don't want to take part in longer races but do race every Thursday. That appears a fair compromise."

I'm awaiting VM to change my connection to another server - they accepted the performance of my current server is well below the min acceptable level - ought to be done by then. We're off to "Execater" on a coach trip to see the Ice Show matinee, hope to be home in time unless the coach stops on the way home for a feed stop, then who knows? Hope to be there with a decent connection - 3rd time lucky?. Bill

Can't we have two cups in season 5, like it was in season 2. We can have a classic cup with 40 minute races, and enduro cup with longer races. And we can even have an overall cup, with results from previous two added together. Reminds me a bit pf alpine skiing. You have downhill, super g, gs, slalom and combined. They're all separate cups, but the results from all of them count towards an overall cup, which is actually the most valued one. So you can have specialists for shorter races, and those for longer races. And the most valued would be the overall cup. Just an idea.

The only problem with that is an Enduro race is alot harder to attend for some people, as it's a larger chunk of free time that must be scheduled and dedicated :/

That's why it's a completely separate cup for those that want/can attend. You still get the regular classic cup, like in the previous two seasons. Also, you don't have to have the same number of races in both cups. You can have 10 races in classics cup and say5 in enduro cup.
