So the track grip has been slightly reduced then? I'll have to check my version, I managed a 1.36.6 earlier but will have to see online what it'll be like.

No, rear tyre heating has been reduced. Exactly what I wrote above.

Having just check the files i now see what you meant. And having driven it it can see that catching people out, though that might have been more to do with the braking into turn 1. My second lap was a 36.2 so i can see people getting down the laptimes down quite far.

Hmm. I fear I may be joining more series then I will have time to attend later this year. But after the disastrous Imola race, I just have to get some more Fezza seat time, even if this is the baby version. Also: Scattered Clouds. High:78 ° F. / 26 ° C. Looking good to me EDIT: I spoke too soon, seems I can't make it tonight. Forgot about a previous engagement. Have a good race guys.

did some praccy on the srouk server last night. Its a stunning looking version of the track, very nicely done. Looks almost real down the back straight when you can see the skyline etc and all the trackside paraphenalia. Looking forward to tonights race.

I can't beleive that just happened! Qualified 12th I beleive, kept my place into T1, and was happily following the cars ahead, managed to gain a place when purdie (I think) ran wide into a corner, he lost a few places and rejoined behined me. He then wouldn't get off my bumper for 2/3 laps until I made a total balls up into a corner near the end of the lap, he passed me going through the downhill right hander just before the timing line, I stayed on the outside to try and get alongside him under braking - having carried more momentun round the corner, only to be squeezed out and forced into braking earlier (very fair, I enjoyed it ) - I then tried to get at him coming out of the final 'real' corner, but accidentally short shifted and lost any acceleration advantage I had. He then went straight on at T1 and I got the place back And my wheel promptly re-connected itself to the PC, so I had no control and had to bail...grr, not sure why it's doing that, but I shall investigate!

My 1st GTC race & enjoyed it. Jumped in a car with an Oldie skin & off I went. Set a PB for the track in Qually, only to find myself still on the back row! But managed to stick with API for about the first 8-10 laps of the race & knocked over 1.5secs of my best laptime Spent the rest of the race on my own, slowly seeing API move away & Ade catching me by a second or so a lap... clung on to my position with 1 second to spare Glad I didn't have to hold out another lap that's for sure.

Another exciting GTR2 race. Started an unexpected 2nd behind Dan with my practice/setup time consisting of doing the 7:15 iRace at Summit Point and then hurriedly downloading the Interlagos track before the start of this one. Love Interlagos so wasn't worried about no track time or setup. I cobbled a decent one together from my Brands setup reversed the left/right stuff for the anti-clockwise nature of the circuit and took off a load of wing. Started 2nd and finished 2nd, never gaining or losing position. That didn't really tell the whole story though as the top few cars were always pretty close and in the end the top three finished only a second or so apart. I was close to Dan for the first 3rd, then in the middle whilst I went into tyre preservation mode I lost 2 seconds to him. Decided to save some tyres for the last 5 minutes and to push hard and use whatever tyre was left. It worked as I closed up on him, especially in the last lap, whilst Mark M behind me did the same to me. Was quite an exciting finish, but I wish I'd pushed a couple minutes earlier than I did in hindsight. But heck, that's my measured approach for you. Great result and the usual fun. Very well done to Dan on the win.

Enjoyable race that one...really nice track that one Qually was as good as I could expect....equalled my pb to get 7th. I have noticed during praccy here that this track tends to bite you pretty hard...especially on worn rubber, so I went with a very safe setup and managed the race without any 'offs'. Could have gone a bit less conservative though as I finished with only 12 tyre wear on my mediums . It did make me a little slower in race pace than I could have been...but I reckoned I would be able to hold up folk behind long enough to let my tyre strategy come into play. Would have worked to but I made it easy for them...Dave first when I just clipped the barrier on the apex at T1...that lost me enough Momentum for him to sail passed me on the straight. Then MJ I think....I got a little out of shape and invited him passed ....Same thing with Pete and then Steve too....Love it when a plan comes together Got Pete back when he Disco'ed (unlucky mate...you were fairly flying) MJ ran wide and returned my earlier gift....Then Steve fell off chasing evert hard on the last lap and I sneaked by to finish 8th. Great stuff tonight...some pretty close stuff that was a joy to be part of. Grats to Dan and podiums.
