Race length now amended to 100 mins. Appreciate some fast lap times to set the right number of laps please.
Did a BMW v Capri race here some time ago, best lap was 2.04.8. My best was 2.07.0. |

Mine blew up at Kyalami, and that was with a super safe gearratio Tongue So did mine, with the same ratio,s, just got to make sure you dont over rev it down shifts. This track looks amazing ,great to drive aswell.  looking forward to this. |

Understeer, oversteer city in the GT40!

well what a comedy of errors, made too many mistakes thinking I had some grip! Final nail in the coffin was a stutter on my side as my wife used the laptop online, sometimes it disco's others it stutters. Sent me into another spin So I quit out before getting in the way. A very nice track, but destroys the tyres n the GT40

made it onto the track with 12sec to spare.......nice.
took the beemer (wrong one) and had a better than expected race in 5th.
had a yoyo thing going on with sbg for a long time and then he got passed when the tyres finaly gave up on lap 27/28.
went into the pits behind sbg, came out infront, let minton (is it Mr. ?) past as he lapped me, followed him, looked behind if someone else was about to lap me and nearly went into the back of minton. decided on crashing it into the tyres rather than the escort. me done.
oh well. everything else was great though, big thx to the organisers.
i do like the enduro races, just need to pay attention next time.

Good race that, God knows where the starting lights are but didnt see them and went from 1st to last, Manage to plug away and catch up with Oily but by this time my tires were shot and he started to pull away. Decided to make my stop and saw Oily pulling in in front of me ,got totally confused and thought my pit man was Oily,s as we were next to each other and drove straight past! Decided not to reverse and do another lap , came in done my stop and was second and around 52 secs behind Oily. I was never gonna catch Oily so decided just to try and get the car to the end without the engine going pop, then the missus starts messing around beside me and i totally lost where i was on the track and went flat out into the barrier at the right left chicane after the two quick corners after the s/f straight. She did look pretty hot though so ill let her off . Grats to podium and Oily very consistent mate. our fastest laps were very close  Thought track was awesome!! Cheers all. |

Not sure what happened there, last night lapping in the 2:09s with the occasional 2:08 everything felt fine - come the race total nightmare, I think I was overdriving but it felt like something was wrong on the left side as the car would not turn right without sliding off the track. In the end binned it and gave up rather than really wreck somones race - really frustrating. Congrats to podium.
