Is a two race format where Drivers will score combined points from both races! Practice: 20:00 (10 mins) Qual: 20:10 (15 mins) Race 1: 20:25 (19 laps) about 25 mins Race 2: 20:51 (19 laps) about 25 mins Track: Oschersleben 07 Cars: Caterham (260bhp) Time of Day: 14:00 Weather: Dry Start: STANDING Server: SimRacing.org.uk Password: see abovenotes(1) If you are interested in using/seeing custom skins the links for some of the downloads are here: https://www.simracing.org.uk/smf/index.php?topic=3650.0(2) Please don't press escape once you have joined the starting grid or you will get a DQ! (3) Championship standings are on the series pagenb: This event has been changed from Imola because of the overly tight corner cutting rules which won't allow for side by side racing.

May I suggest using the '06 version of Oschers? T1 of the 2007 version is awefull and has also very strict cutting rule. Touching the curb usually results in a c/t warning.

Thanks for the heads up Jeff. I'll have to look into it. I think I remember we did a WTCC there and had no problems, but that may have been down to a lack of actual cars on the track?

Indeed, we did a funrace here with only the 5 of us. In T1 there is a high curb and even when you are well in the rules and have two wheels on that curb it gave me a c/t. I think the other Sharks had that too, what I heard over TS. Could be me

I'll back Jeff up on this one, I got a couple of cut warnings off the first kerb just from touching it, I was probably who you heard going "eh?" over team speak. It's a little over-zealous. Not a big problem in itself, as they changed the track in 07 to stop cutting. Leave it up to Don to decide on this one I think.

The tracks up on the server atm. I personally like the 07 layout as it gives something different to the original GTR2 track. I'll try get a few cars on there so we can test it.

After some testing it would seem that T1 at Oschersleben 07 shouldn't really cause any problems with regards to cut warnings. (you have to take nearly half the round kerb to get the warning!)... But it is a likely accident spot, so I urge all our drivers to use some common sense and caution at this turn! Lets keep it clean and tidy.

Have I got something wrong, or are we having a pit stop in this race by having 19 laps?? The tanks only seems to fill to 18laps.

No pitstop required. I can do the 19 laps with 7.4 gallons(that's less than 38 litres for you young 'uns)

I'm around high 33/low 34 now, but that's with only a few laps .

1:36:0 with totally standard setup, but I'm finding it hard to find the will power not to start power sliding it everywhere just for the fun of it!
