Password: see aboveFrom fire-breathing sports cars we now jump to the classic end of the single seater spectrum - Namely the Russell Alexis Mk14 from 1967 and the Estonia 18 (Approx 1972). As the 2 cars can't really race each other (The FF is a 1600 Kent block while the Estonia is a 1300 Lada) this event will be a double header. The practice server has both cars loaded but the races will each be one make events. As a result I can't urge you enough to practice on the server before race night as there will be NO practice session before either race - just a 20 min qualifying session. A note from the readme on tires for the Russell Alexis: The two tire compounds are labelled North and East because they would be running in different series; North is a 90s Formula specific radial with a stiffer sidewall, East is a 60s generally available car tire - in the 60s road cars would actually run on 165/55s, by the 90s no new cars were using such a small tire. Both are a fairly hard long-wearing compound.I vaguely remember north being faster (It's 30 years newer so should be!), but as the East compound is a road tire you may actually find that easier to drive. (This car is VERY skitish - having nearly crashed a 1600FF in real life I can assure you that this isn't due to poor physics in the mod ) Timings:Race 1 - Estonia 18 Qualifying: 19:30 (20 mins) Race: 19:50 (20 mins) Stay on the server after race 1 - when you loose connection you'll know I've changed the settings and restarted it. When that happens quit and the 'new' server should be ready by the time you get to the multiplayer menuRace 2 timings shoukld be understood as highly variable - depending on how fast we get through race 1 and time for me to save the results and reset etc.. Race 2 - Russell Alexis Mk14 (Formula Ford) Qualifying: ~20:20 (20 mins) Race: ~20:40 (20 mins) Cars allowed: Russell Alexis Mk14(Be sure to install everything in the archive!) Estonia 18Track: Road Atlanta 2021 (V0.8 )(We're using the 'Short' course for this event) Live Timing: stracker.simracing.org.uk:50041/lapstatTime of Day Setting: 14:00 Weather: Mid Clear Start: StandingTyre wear: NormalFuel consumption: normalServer track settings: SESSION_START=98 RANDOMNESS=2 LAP_GAIN=0.007% SESSION_TRANSFER=80 Damage: 70%

Good news/Bad news. I've been informed it's my birthday on Weds so I'm not allowed out to play This may not be a bad thing as it can ensure that you all get time to trial the cars and figure out setups for them. The races will now be held on the 29th instead (If maxime is serious about the Sunday slot then he could always throw a quick something together for this Weds to see if he still fancies it? I can give a quick bit of advice on the Wednesday server settings if needed) Beyond the 29th I'm going to have to play things by ear somewhat - as on the 23rd I'll be picking up a new puppy, so depending on time and Kate's whereabouts I'm not yet certain on my availability while it's still tiny.

Hello guys, Don't forget that despite Tim getting older and that the double single seater event has been postponed by him in consequence, there will be a little fun event tonight at the usual time, no DL needed, no real practice needed, just show up and join in with the usual generic password. (There will not be a dedicated password, nor official races results, neither Champagne !).

Yeah, I'll do a tidy up when I get a chance. Had forgotten how much time a puppy needs!
Hehe, hasn't been eaten this past night eventually ? Enjoy your new baby Tim It is cats here but I get you well ! At the end of the day you'll be racing in an estate car, perhaps we'll get our chance !

The racing estate (Legacy 3.0R Spec B - Google them, then check youtube for videos with modified exhausts ) will have to be sold soon due mainly to the fact the puppy will be wanting a lot of very long w,alks when she stops being a puppy I'm likely to end up in a small van so you'll get your chance then!

Might be me but I can't find the server. I checked my filters and can't figure out why for now. Oddly enough, I have ~850 servers listed /~4200 Does anyone else experience it ?

Fabri was on it over the weekend I think. But I can't get the live map to show on S-tracker so the server may have gone to sleep - I'll re-start it later today when I can escape the puppy long enough

I couldn't find the server either, so I did the training (a bit) offline.
No problems with the engine, almost with Formula Ford. I will try Estonia tonight I think.

Going to miss this one & next week as I am off to Le Mans, have fun guys & see you for the Minis. PS: Mmm, just had a go in the Mini Miglias & found them nearly uncontrollable, not sure the RWD brigade are going to like these much. All the worst FWD traits, massive corner entry oversteer & corner exit understeer & loads of torque steer.

The Estonia has a very high rev limit Vs damage threshold, if you're killing engines then you're simply revving it too high Server would be up as I managed to reset it pays this morning. As for mini miglia, it's all about the throttle - as I mentioned, they use a torque biasing diff as opposed to an lsd. A good excuse to learn left for braking
