Regretably I've been feeling carp all day so reluctantly I'll be sitting this one out. Which is a real shame as I found it made the Donny track come alive like no other sim has.

Anyway, enjoy. I'll be spending my night on the sofa with a single 15 yo.

Sorry to her you're not feeling well but I really think you should keep quiet about what you'll be doing instead ;)  ::) ;D

Great fun in the 1st race, dicing with Picnic, then tyres went off near the end and I was all over the road
I can't get the hang of the braking in these things, Silverstone was fine. Zand and here the fronts would lock
then the back tries to spin, fell off too many times, Legzy and Steve Bird passed, I gave chase but was struggling
to make it go where I wanted, and thumped Steve up the bum. 2nd race was leading, and had big front lock up
again into final chicane, kept as tight as I could but still got in Pete's way sending him off, not looking forward
to another out of control session so parked it before I got annoyed with it and did any more damage.

Not me in the 2nd race, I was dead last after being put in the pit wall at the start :( Enjoyed our battle in the 1sr, you were obviously faster in the tow etc. so I was happy to see your rubber go off ;)

That was a bit of shame tonight. First race, I was delighted with my start and pace. I couldn't do any better.

Second race promised much. Think nsfat and a.n.other clashed near start and let me through them before T1. Then a someone come steaming up the inside of me into T1 and I thought "what the hell are you doing?", when he slowed it nicely and slipped pass cleanly. Great pass Bill  :) (note to self-you can brake much later into T1). Then, sadly, all the ones in front slipped off when it could have been a great race. There's always next week :)

Nice to see 1 or 2 more, especially the Coopers. Just need perhaps two more. How about it Mike, Spanner et al :-*

Very much enjoyed both races tonight (after a disappointing night at SilverStone) & felt at one with throwing the car round again 8)
Actually very disappointed with 4th in the 2nd race, I gifted 1st, 2nd & 3rd all their passes as i went wide onto the grass for all of them ::). Managed to have some corking dices with Cosworth for about 10laps as we  :fencing: for 2nd spot... till I blew it.
Once I let 3rd through, I was just making too many errors to catch as I tried too hard.

Remained a great night though & good to see team mates Tinman & Oilseal after missing them for months maybe half a year! :)

Sorry Pete, I think that may have been my fault.  :(  I got off to a very good start in Race 2 and closed up quickly behind Legzy. I moved to the left to overtake not realising sombody else was there.  ::) We both ended up in the pit wall. The rest of the race was a bit of a struggle with the bent suspension.

Enjoyed race 1, although still too far off the pace got lucky with the places I made up and a bit of close racing thrown in.  No worries about the tap phspok, all part of it :)

Didn't bother with race 2 with the reverse grid thing, but looking at the lap times it seems I'd have been a bit closer to some than race 1.

Thanks Ian, it only works on turn I.   When you're use to starting from the back/near the back of the grid, you see it all unfolding in front of you.  When you make a good get away all the faster drivers are looking ahead and often you see the gap and go for it.  Some times you're lucky other times you get collected like picnic (see above).  Race 2 was very enjoyable but I guess spoilling Tudor's finishing position.  I got ahead of him somewhere, then Tinman (I think) had an off and I passed him.  He caught up, passed and ran wide again allowing me through.  Tudor then caught up and had a battle with him, then he got by me and went off into the distance.  By driving carefully on the racing line I managed to keep ahead of Tudor, and by taking the middle of the track at the end of the main straight was able to slow sufficiently to get out onto the start/finish straight with sufficient space to stay ahead up to the start of the main straight.  After a while he worked out that that was the place to have a run at me by dropping back up the hill from the old hairpin then going faster than me on the approach of that last corner before the straight and accelerating past me on the straight.  It was good fun and thanks Tudor for the clean drive and pass.  Best fun I've had for a while.

Cheers Bill, that battle we had made my night so no need at all to apologise for delaying me. That's what I love about these cats, you  just can't blast past people but instead have to look for opportunities and plan moves. Just shows what a wiley old fox Bill can be  ;)

Thanks, age has some advantages but not many I'm afraid.
